Start super happy.. With everything going fine.. Then make the guy lose his job over a false acquisition, then make them lose all their money and their home.. Then kill the wife.. Then put the dude in a car crash.. Make him survive but unable to walk.. And then start making things better.. Both kids get into army.. They come back home every other year.. And then show how the dude misses his kids.. And one night the girl calls him and tells him to sit at the spot where they used to sit in her childhood the next day.. And then end with this.. I'll sell my soul to watch that..

I have been binge watching short films too, but all horror/scary ones. (It's October 13th, 2018, and it finally feels like Autumn here, 43°F and mostly cloudy and it finally smells like it, too.) I clicked on this, not knowing what type of film it was. Beautiful and so, *so* moving. That's what this film this is. I'm still weeping. My Dad and I have always been super close, much more than my two younger brothers have been, and as the oldest AND the only daughter, I occupied a special place in my Dad's heart. As a minor, he was such an amazing father, and the only person I have always trusted. When I became an adult, he could finally become my best friend. He's always been there for me when I needed someone to talk to, if I was hurting, and he's always been able to make me laugh, no matter how horrid I feel. I didn't read the synopsis before watching, and I'm glad I didn't, but I am so glad that I saw this. I've been weeping since the dad began weeping, and I'm going to go read something funny, maybe watch an old "Obssessive Pop Culture Disorder' or 'After Hours' from Cracked. Thank you so very much, Ammar Sonderberg. This was beautiful and moving and so perfectly captured the love and fear and necessity within. Thank you.

I can safely say to the director, actors and crew, you sure made that work. There were all manner of leads as to where the story could have been going right to the final moments. Then the final reveal was a real ambush. This is how films should be written and made.

"That they will see each other again..." That especially got to me. I really like watching these short movies on KZbin; a great chance for new filmmakers to put up their work and show their talent. I do believe this is most touching, moving and beautiful short film that I've ever seen. What affective, yes not effictive, story telling! The scenery, music and acting is superb. A lot of similar attempts at film making that I've viewed were disappointing and seemed to cheat me and others in the audience out of both their time and money. Though in this case your work was free! Thank you. I shall fall asleep tonight knowing that I watched something truly amazing and civilizing.
