Excellent review, I never owned a Canon camera. But I see the appeal of even the older cameras. Always good to see cameras that most consider out of date dare i say vintage. get another chance in the spot light. Great content as always!

Canon 60d is a good upgrade for 550d 600d and 650d

Really enjoyed your review. Just got one out of England with about a 60 count. Practically new right. Bought some lens and am on a totally new adventure. First camera ever. Sort of bought it for astrophotography; as it had some pretty good "dark" reviews as apparently it likes the dark and eats light lol. Stay safe, stay Happy..regards...Dave

@@MattsNotes You ARE going to laugh lol. I'm new to photography with a "real" camera. Soooooo, I just bought a dvd, specifically for the 60D. Hope to ready for the Spring. Snow will fly here soon in Northern Ontario. It'll be attached to Celestron C-8. I did hook it up to the scope, just to make sure that part was set to go. Now to learn all the terminology etc. Stay cool...Dave

I've got one. The only drawback is the autofocus for video.

I once switched from a D300s to a 60D and it was traumatizing. The 40D and 50D were semiprofessional and good cameras. The 60D was just a trap!. Sold it at a great loss and got a D700.

Yea the 60d is quite a quality drop from the 50d in terms of body design. I wonder if they did this to make room for the 7d. Now it seems that they merged the two lineups into the 90d to close out their dslr line lol

Holy shit that is the almost exact same route I took! Canon 40d/50d and gave the 60d a chance, NO! then it was D300 and the D700

Great review, and some excellent work with the testing But please work on the intensity of that gimbal tracking, or just remove it outright to you can dial it in Was super distracting watching you move around
