0:34 the noise is quite visible in the footage but it does look good in certain lighting conditions. What I like is the menu, looks very similar to the C70.

Dammit. After I read your comment I had to look at the whole thing at half-speed. The noise at 0:34 is pretty bad. Maybe they should have opened the iris up to 2.8. The footage taken of the XF605 at 0:34 was perfect, so I wonder what they shot that with.

It is a different camera that has a larger sensor and is surely more expensive.

SD cards are just cheaper and everyone could user their existing card reader.

The footage doesn't really look like that it was shot by professionals. Maybe you should feature next time somebody who knows how to correctly set the shutter to 180°, record with correct headroom and knows how to control the focus.

There is nothing "wrong" with the footage but it does lack a certain filmic quality. Horses for courses, I guess.

shutter, frame rate, log modes, there are many settings you can tweak to get a more filmic look. It appears in this promo they are shooting 30p for a more news centered workflow.
