This came out the summer before senior year. My girlfriend and I used to hang out in her parents' living room with MTV playing for hours. This was one of our favorite songs. I would sing it to her while we danced slowly. We went our separate ways once school started but remained friends throughout the years and miles. She passed away in 2021. What a huge loss. She really was human sunshine. I'm sure glad we had the summer of 84. It was easily one of the best times of my life. Rest easy, Angelica. You were magic to anyone who knew you.

If Rick Ocasek was one of the NERDS of Rock and Roll, then I guess I’m a nerd too. I love the music of The Cars. To the family of Ric Ocasek, you have my deepest condolences. My brother from another mother will never be forgotten. Rick has joined Benjamin Orr in Heaven to make music forever. Long live Rock and Roll.
