I have been told many times by fellow twin mums, twin specialists & medical professionals that 'fraternal' twins have around a 20% chance of still being 'identical' as its all to do with when the egg splits. The only way to tell fully will be a DNA test when the twins arrive :) xxx

I had my second daughter at 32 weeks with no warning and no reason after having my first past the due date 🤷🏻‍♀️she’s absolutely perfect and healthy so it’s awesome to know you’ve made it past that threshold. It’s pretty amazing to see 32 weeks inside after seeing 32 weeks outside.

Aww. They look so cute. I think identical. I have identical twins. Sickness came back in the last 2 months. I went full term. My girls weighed 8 lbs and 7.5 lbs. Good weights. Twin 1 was a normal birth and Twin 2 was transverse so was turned & was born breach. So all went well. I already had a daughter of 6 yrs old who was a great help playing with the twins & helping me to push the twin buggy on outings. She thought I had 2 babies, one for me & one for her. Lol. She loved them to bits. There are a lot of happy times ahead fir you all. I loved it when my twins were babies & toddlers. Wishing you all the best lovely. xx 👶👶

Im a fraternal twin and i have 2 older sisters. I look like exactly like my eldest sister and my twin looks like the 2nd oldest sister. And us twins look nothing alike. Its funny how it works out. I think one of you your twins will look like jesse too! Take it easy and enjoy x

I think they will be non identical but they do resemble jenson . 4d scans are amazing my son experienced that . I have those pictures on my phone of my little grandson it is so amazing they can do things like this now of modern technology it has come along way since then of the old way of scans Its Not long now until you will meet them it makes it more exciting that you can see there faces in greater detail how beautiful they will be and want more than ever to meet them. Hi Lucy - with my twin pregnancy the nausea & sickness came back around week 32/33. I gave birth in week 36 so it wasn't for too long. I hope it clears up for you!

Two things. The period type pains are called Braxton Hicks contractions. They are absolutely normal for the third trimester and are the body's natural way of limbering up for labour in due course. Secondly - if the twins share a placenta they are definitely identical. If they DON'T share a placenta, they could be either fraternal ( non identical), or identical. In about 30% of cases identical twins don't share a placenta. Something to do with the point at which the egg split in two I guess.
