@@mikesbikes basically, I wanted a gravel bike that can do road well. Just getting into cycling and not a fan of the traffic. 2 groups of friends. 1 mtb the other road. Then I saw them posted a gravel ride…something I could get into…BUT without any fitness, I knew I had to do some road work…and as I got better, I thought some roads are fine, BUT didn’t want to get dropped by all the ladies in the group, hence a gravel race bike. At least I won’t get dropped by All the ladies hahaha. After 4 months on a temp hybrid finally got the aspero…slipped my disc…again, twice in 2 weeks, same disc. Just back on the bike, legs, lungs are ok, still a lot of weakness and lack flexibility on the back. This time, won’t be getting back too soon, been doing that all my sports career, taking my time to full strength.

On the other hand, I would like to ask you, model and size of those Pirelli tires? Which telescopic seatpost do you use and where have you placed the remote control to hide it better, as well as the cable of the remote control? Thank you

I had one and sold it. Yep, it's fast and that's what I wanted, to beat all my buddies up and down hills. But it was damn uncomfortable in doing so, to the point where I decided to sell it. I've now had a few rides on my Canyon Endurace both on the road and on the gravel with my bunch and it seems just as fast as the Aspero but with a ton more comfort.

I own the Cervelo R3 and I put size 28 c tires on my rim brake version and it is the smoothest bike ride ever. I can’t get an aspero here in Houston Texas.

Any thoughts on possibly using this bike as a dual purpose bike? I am in search of a new bike and as thinking with an extra wheel set with some 32 GP5000 STR’s this bike might be able to be used for both road and gravel? Any thoughts?

I have the 2020 Aspero and once I flawed both Gravel tires, I put 32 road tires & that's all I use or for now😂

This bike was really easy to assemble kzbin.infoUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

Geometry: The flip chip in the Aspero's forks in the rearward position makes the forks and trail pretty much the same as an R5.

If you don’t understand it then maybe you should try it before making stupid comments about it. Each year in the US 1,500 riders are killed & many more are severely injured so many roadies have switched to gravel, no one has gotten hit by a car riding gravel & it’s actually really fun, road riding these days is treacherous & not worth the risk, I love riding my road bike but only on closed running & riding paths these days for me
