I love how these brothers expose their vulnerabilites in song. Even when speaking, they are articulate in expressing themselves. Today's "singers" don't express themselves in this way, and it is a shame. Music has a way of saying things in our hearts if only we had the words/chance. I love 70s soul for that very reason -- superb lyrics, beautiful music, and a lesson in hearing of it.

Unsung brought me here so thank you Unsung! Love you Chi-Lites. Rest in peace to all who have gone on. Love You Marshall Thompson for keeping the spirit alive. Have always loved the Chi-lite sound. Thanks so much again. Will be playing their music again. Funny story. I saw the Chi-lites in Cleveland, Ohio in the 70's. They had on blue and white long vests with stacked white shoes. From the time they came on it was pandemonium. My girlfriends and I were screaming so loud thinking they were singing to us....Not. So fun to have alll these memories...lol
