This song is 2nd to none. Superior vocal arrangement. The Chi-lites have some of the tightest harmony ever heard on earth. I miss them.

Spectacular moving song. It sturs the soul. Makes you yearn for the days when music moves your heart strings. Unfortunately it ain't gonna happen listening to today's music.

I bet the band members would be practicing every second so they'd learn the next song. So much competition

😂Nobody knows this song better than me😂😂😂. Ok so how should you listen to it? Count by 8s. The “push” is on the snare. If you’re counting 8s the 3 and the 7 is what the whole band is playing behind. (Playing off the snare”. You’re welcome!☺️ Oh one more thing… The instrument that “brings the sadness” is that sustained ghostly organ that plays underneath everything. You hear it best at the end. It’s like a funeral home organ but man that thing is responsible for like 75% of the beauty. Listen to it while you follow the snare. Just magic!
