That creepy pasta really reads like it could be from a Fallout style post-apocalypse setting of a scavenger stumbling across a theme park.

In 200 years the cast of this podcast are going to be the think tank from old world blues, 3 crazy brains in preservative goo controlling a robot body with face monitors

Its Walt's original concept for Epcot that does it for me. Sounds just like the Big MT

I'd love to see y'all tackle more creepypasta stuff, not just because I'm still an edgy 14yo goth kid at heart, but also because there's definitely some out there that have been taken more seriously than self-published online horror fiction should. Lavender Town Syndrome comes to mind as something people actually claimed happened in Japan, and in some circles was treated the same way as the seizures caused by the infamous Porygon episode or Jynx's original design - dark and messed up, but also 100% real. If you want to keep that contrast between dark themes and family-friendly corporate image, maybe an episode about Nintendo rumors/urban legends?

The good news about reanimating the body is that in 2014 they mapped the human brain for the very first time. So I'm sure sometime in the next 200 years they'll find out Walt's not ever coming back.

Man the irony of Alex telling everyone to question everything they hear or read is delicious.

A great 2-part episode, Alex. Well done on everyone's participation.

I'm going to assume Alex is talking about that Alladin Protocol or whatever where it's fabled that it's in the official Disney handbook that, out of all the characters, Alladin is the only one allowed to be armed, and can use the weapon in defense of the guests and other employees lol I think this is honestly the first time I've heard something on Distractible first - they're normally pretty behind, and end up repeating things I've heard on Cox n Crendor XD

When I was an asshole kid I used to flip off the cameras on rides at Cedar Point, and often times, but not always, the images would be entirely gone or halfway cut off at the end

I would still have my corpse be preserved. Life is the meaning of life. It doesn't matter if it doesn't work right now. We need to have hope for the future. What is life without hope? Nihilism. 28:51 I like to imagine that every big bang has a critical mass and that an uninterrupted big bang will always produce the same universe over and over; however I hope that some matter always escapes the big crunch and can go on to interfere with other big bangs to create an infinite number of possibilities, thus breaking eternal recurrence. The key, once again, being hope.

It took me 6 and a half minutes to realize this wasn't a patreon episode. Was really wondering why they were talking as if they just did the disney episode.

When are these Reddit kids going to understand over detailing your stories doesn’t make them seem more realistic. It just makes you seem more of a storyteller
@joaogomes9405 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, creepypastas that are trying to present themselves as something that actually happened and then devolve into poorly written Stephen King spoofs when the scary thing happens are the bane of my existence. If you just want to write a spooky story, write a spooky story and stop trying to sell it as something that happened for real. It just makes you look dumb when you switch from matter of fact writing to overblown prosetic garbage.

Have you done an episode on the Georgia guide stones? Also was it in here that I heard a story about a Disney breath where a female worker was trapped between the walls of the rotating stage at possibly the rodeo? Gruesome

My mother once let the Jehovah Witnesses in to debate them. I was too young to remember everything.... but I do remember that my mother convinced them that god is a woman and religion now is not what it should be. One of them came back and thanked my mother for talking sense into them. :D
