The power system in the United States is controlled by private companies, so they can raise electricity prices at will. For example, when a hurricane hit Texas, the price of electricity was tripled. China's power supply system is controlled by the state, and low prices must be guaranteed to the citizens. The China government has also tried to generate electricity in many ways. For example, the construction of hydropower stations, solar power generation and wind power generation. Even the traditional factory burning coal has the highest thermal efficiency, the lowest pollution and the most advanced.
Perhaps it is the only country in the world that can write the vision of "Long live the great unity of the people of the world" on its landmark buildings. And this has been adhered to for more than 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China ~ Tian'anmen ~ China

I was born and raised in Hong Kong. I remember what Shenzhen was like in the 70s and 80s. It was poor, dirty, far behind Hong Kong. Now Shenzhen is far more advanced than many cities in the West. I am not surprised when media in the West saying bad things about China but it is upsetting to see many Hong Kong Chinese criticize China and say nothing good about China. Their comments showing nothing but hatred. They say China has no democracy and human rights. The Chinese government has improved the living standards of people and reduced the poverty rate. You have to give them credit for that. Thank you for showing this video! 👍👏

Your chopstick skills are impressive. The US Media kept accusing China of “stealing” their tech…. But, somehow, the version of those techs in China is almost always a whole generation ahead of the one in the US. It was 1996 when I last visited SZ, and it was very much a rural area outside of the streets immediately around the train station that’s linked to Hong Kong. NONE of the buildings used for the light show were around back then. They probably were farmland back then. Bonus from your video: we have been saying “Mercedes” wrong. So wrong. Easy way to determine a vehicle is electrical or gasoline car through the color of its number plate. Green number plate can only be used for new energy car (either pure electrical or hybrid) , blue number plate can be used for both (in most case gasoline car). Blue number plate costs more in major cities, so in case some owner sell their old gasoline car and buy a new energy car, they have the option to keep the right to possess their blue plate to put on their new electrical car because it costed some money to acquire that plate. For newly bought electrical car, if the owner does not have a vacant blue number plate, then a new number plate needs to be applied, it will be green for all new energy cars.

Sago is almost pure starch from tropical palm stems, composed of 88 percent carbohydrate, 0.5 percent protein, and minute amounts of fat, and contains only a trace of B vitamins. It is a basic food of the southwest Pacific area, where it is used in meal form to prepare soups, cakes, and puddings.

Sago vs tapioca: they may appear identical, but they're sourced quite differently. Tapioca comes from cassava - a long root of a vegetable. In some South American countries the root is actually called tapioca. Sago is made from the pith of the sago palm. Not sure if one can tell the difference from the picture.

This place you visited is a dessert place. You had two of the most popular desserts, steamed milk with ginger and coconut milk with tapioca. Yes that jelly stuff is tapioca. One hot and one cold😊

21:53 This is a salted egg, which is an egg (usually a duck egg) that has been cured in high salt content. After salting, the egg white becomes firm and salty, while the yolk exudes oil, giving it a unique flavor and texture. In some regions, it is a common side dish, and salted egg yolk is used as an ingredient in various other foods. The egg white is difficult to separate from the shell after curing, so it is typically served cut open rather than peeled, requiring diners to scrape out the egg white and yolk with utensils.
