You can still give it a push turn the regen off then set the parameters to 8000 instead of 4000 you need to turn off regen coz you will be using the whole 8000w power it might burn the controller if it is on
@SateenDuraLuxe4 жыл бұрын
I did some math. Based off the 0-60 time and a rough guess of the total weight of the motorcycle. The Chinese sportbike is producing about 17-26 HP. There has to be a way to overclock that motor to output more power.
@EQINOX1874 жыл бұрын
With the current set up sadly no, when it comes to ebikes or emotorbikes ( they are basically the same ) the battery voltage is the limiting factor when it comes to top speed, a lot in the comments seem to think dumping more watts into the motor will make it go faster but this is not the case it would just give it more torque but would not increase the speed, as an example a 48v ebike with a 1000w direct drive motor will max out out 30mph but the same bike with a 5000w controller will still max out at 30 but you will now pull wheelies at the lights. So the only way to make it go faster would be to increase the battery voltage.
@BretBowlby4 жыл бұрын
@@EQINOX187 I have a 48v motor on a 52v 20ah battery. Yes top speed goes up. The motor is rated for an rpm rate at 48v. Bumping the bolts gives higher speed. Bumping up the amperage draw gives torque and acceleration. Now yah know. ;)
@EQINOX1874 жыл бұрын
@@BretBowlby That is basically what i said o.o. additionally you say 52 but i am guessing its more 58V fully charged as a 48 max charged is 54.6v but a 52v is around 58v, still if it is a 52v / 58v battery that should be good for what 40 or 45 mph, sounds fun though though 30 on my for fun ebike is terrifying lol
@EQINOX1874 жыл бұрын
@@BretBowlby I was kinda thinking about it and there is away to increase speed without increasing voltage but I do not know if his controller supports it, Most high end controllers have a an option called field weakening but i think it comes at the cost of battery range.

I also have an electric motorcycle I bought from China in 2014. Unfortunately it stopped working after a few months and I never figured out exactly what went wrong. Following the manufacturer's instructions for testing purposes I was able to make it run by bypassing something. Anyway the battery is probably toast now since it has been just sitting in the garage in a state of disrepair for the last 5 years. Would be nice to get it to someone who would fix it up and get it back on the road if possible. Not the fastest bike - top speed is barely 60mph and acceleration is meh but maybe it just needs some tuning. I also live in the central valley near Visalia.

Glad you were able to squeeze a little more boom out of your bike. But honestly if you want that top speed to go up, just pump that battery upto a 96v from a 72 and you'll see a top speed around 90. Push it to 112v, and your little bike will push 113 mph. Just keep amps in mind ;) Also: if you do goto 112, monitor the temps of the motor. For a 96v just do a 26s 20p. That'll get you 96v 60ah if you go with the Samsung Q30 cells. Pretty fun ride for just a bump in volts. I've got a 48v that's overvolted and pulls like a champ.

Thank you for these details for the number of Poles because when I go to the application: MQCON for my Sabvoton controller, (also having a QS motor wheel motor, a V3 of 8000 Watts nominal and 12000 watts peak at 72 Volts nominal and normally from what I can withstand a maximum voltage of 96 Volts) one of the parameters that I have not modified is precisely the number of poles and as on your software, it is set to the number of 16, so that it is surely a 2 X 16 poles as well, and like you, when it accelerates fully it has a latency of almost 2 seconds and then it shoots off like an arrow, on the other hand it is given for a 110 km/h in top speed, and well I know that it all depends on the weight of my Bomber that I assembled in KIT with most of the parts ordered on AliExpress which weighs 80 kg and the weight of the pilot too, I weigh 77 kg and therefore I max. at 101 km/h between 9 and 10 seconds, it already accelerates very strongly, but if I didn't have this latency of almost 2 seconds which makes it soft on start-up even if you wring the handle, I'm sure that I will do 0 to 100 km/h in not even 8 seconds or even less than that and I could reach 110 km/h or even more. And I see that your engine has a lot of engine braking, I also modified the advanced parameters because from the factory there was no engine braking, therefore no braking regeneration, and I added the deceleration at the throttle, and now I have a very big engine brake and you can hear it, lol! I have a bms which accepts max 50 A in recharge and 40 A in the parameters and I have a very good and fast regeneration without it harming the controller, because some having set values that are too high or unsuitable, have fried their controller. So I'm going to put 32 poles in the settings and see if I gain torque and therefore acceleration speed and top speed too. Here is my Bomber: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jHq6nGx9eKdmfck
