May the Lord bless you Ms. Chrisie ☺️ I was dealing with spiritual warfare right before I watched this message, and suddenly my eyes were opened. Pastor John mentions humility. That may not be your issue, but oftentimes that’s what separates us from God. We are attached to things in our life that are keeping us from fully experiencing God. When we are humble, like a little child walking with our Father, there is no limit to what the Holy Spirit can do in our life, the love He can pour down on us, because we want Him more than anything else in our life, and our heart only desires to live for Him. I suggest you just come before the Lord and cry out your need for Him. Again, this may not be your issue, but as Isaiah 56 says, the Lords hand is not shortened, that it cannot save. He absolutely is with you, if you desire to do His will. ❤️

Nails or clothespins? When we crucify our flesh, are we nailing it to the cross or hanging it up with clothespins so we can take it down when we need/want it? For give us Lord and help us to not treat the cross as a clothesline.

Single Christians are almost completely excluded from the Church. Address this alongside other messages or else it will not feel like something single Christians can even apply to themselves. You’ve got lots of time for trivial marriage questions. If marital status is so insignificant as is said any time a single Christian dares to desire marriage, then there shouldn’t be so much time for every single question from a married person about every single little minute aspect of their marriage. Single people don’t have their questions answered often like that. They get the same patronising and critical message over, and over and over. Nothing positive and affirming like married people get.

Wow piper, what a leap it is to say Paul was saying they didn't have the spirit. Talk about trying to read your theology into the text, instead of pulling the meaning out of the text. He says at the end we are quick to judge someone's salvation by how their life looks, but yet that is exactly what he teaches, always talking about the " evidence " , and if it's not there they are not saved,complete confusion again from piper. And he compared salvation to swimming upstream, and then he will say he doesn't teach works for salvation ????

John Piper compared salvation with swimming upstream. God's word said to work out our salvation. That doesn't meant to work for our salvation because we can't. We work "out" our salvation meaning sanctification and spiritual growth. It takes hard work and effort to examine ourselves to see whether we're in the faith and to be conformed to the likeness of Christ, continued repentance and obedience.
