The Church will be Political

I’ve been studying 1 Peter for the last two months. I see how your words correlate with his words to those in exile. It’s not the power of the flesh that transforms but the Spirit that will transform Gentiles so they glorify God when he comes. I also recently lived in the Philippines for one year and am still amazed by how influential a church is to the whole of society. The difference between the Christian church’s influence in America and the Roman Catholic church’s influent in The Philippines became starkly evident to me over the course of the year.

I blame the "End-Timesers" for the lack of effective influence on American culture. The sky is falling and Jesus is coming back just sit and watch. I wouldn't put it past them to hasten his coming by voting for the enemy.
