The Citizen AQ4020-54Y One-Year Review - even more awesome!

Here's my one-year review of my own AQ4020.
It's been my favourite watch for 2023. I wore it to dinners, shopping around, and even when performing on stage. It's an awesome watch packed with technological marvels such as the high-precision movement and the coated titanium case.
It's so light and comfy to wear. Imagine the feel and weight of a G-shock 5600 but yet we're talking about a full-metal bracelet watch.
Yes, I'd admit it's not exactly an affordable watch. At over $3000, most people would say that this is crazy money for a quartz watch. For me, it's worth every penny. In fact I think if Swiss brands have this one (which they don't), the will price this at least 3 times more.
My final thoughts on this watch - get it while you can. Don't wait if you're considering this. Just get it.

I want one but I’m too cheap and bought a Certina with an ETA Precidrive movement that is supposed to be accurate to about +-10 seconds a year. It was a model for women, 32mm, but it doesn’t look too bad on my wrist. Under US$200. If the Citizen were under US$1000 with a full Japan-style warranty I might buy one right away.

Hi. I have always wondered if the Chronomaster would be a good alternative to the GS quartz. Yet, here in the UK at least, Citizen have always made virtually no attempt at promoting their top of the range models, and I have heard that a similar approach also exists for the American market. That seems such a shame, as the brand itself is appreciated by millions.

It’s criminally underrated even here in SG. But then again, prices are kept within control due to the lack of marketing or fanfare. I’m just glad to have bought mine.
