He's actually the guy I used to base my training on it was basically a 5x5 workout but I tried to do the compound like he does them, or like an Olympic lifter, I'd squat ass to grass with a pause and got to I believe 140-150kg for 5s, deadlifts I'd do similar to him as like not exactly pulling back but pulling up like I'm about to do a clean it worked wonders I was more explosive off the floor and made locking out easier I got to like 170 for 5s, and bench and ohp was all very close grip always with a pause on the bottom I got to 75-77kg ohp for 5s and I think 115-117kg bench for 5s, I'm really thankful I found the guy early in my lifting cuz I didn't just enjoy lifting heavy weight but I enjoyed just basically being a monster like there's strong and there's Clarence Kennedy strong that's what I wanted when I started and I believe that has gotten me the drive, passion and strength I have for this now and my lifts are also a lot higher like squat is 160 for 5-6 reps now, deadlift Is 200 for like 5-10, bench I haven't done cuz I try to focus on upper chest but I've been doing high incline BP 100kg for 5-7, dips with +70 kg for 7-8, heaviest dumbells in my gym are like 50kg I do them for like 7-8, and not to mention my ohp is almost 90kg for like 7-8 reps and dumbell ohp I can do like 42kg for 5-6 reps I weigh like 81-2 kg rn so yeah really thankful for the strength I got training similar to the guy

My thoughts; Amazing strength, technical approach and training lifts, also he doesn't need any accessories like belt or kneesleeve's which I admire very much. Also seems like a smart and humble guy. One thing I find downside is that he doesn't compete. Even the lifts in training are big, the competition is a different story. That's why training lifts are never too impressive to me. But I can understand its easier this way and not needing to stress for the results or testing.

He said in an interview or Q&A, that, depending on the country, the system is corrupted to the bone, so he doesn't see the point in competing if he has to go through 15 tests a year to finally stand against chinese or korean athletes who are free to use juice, or others who know someone and modify their test results.
