Wow what a beautiful car, def one of the best looking Corrado's I've seen. I would swap out the wheels and tires closer to stock personally for looks and driveability but it's really nice.

The Corrado is still one of my favorite Volkswagens… A few years ago there was someone in my town who owned a green one for years, drove it around town and such, that was also a clean one with an oldskool feel to it because of the Rieger body kit. This black Corrado is definitely a very clean car, but in Europe there are quite a few more Corrado's like this. With a similar attention to detail. The car you guys featured might stand out because of the highly detailed look by polishing the car so thoroughly, at least that's how it shows on the video :-) .

Most of the nice noise associated with a VR is the intake manifold. If you run a turbo VR with a bespoke intake manifold it sounds far more unremarkable. This retains all of the stock burble which is definitely a good thing

I had a cherry red 92 VR6 SLC, I loved that car! It was amazing! I wrecked it like a dumb ass 🤦‍♂️ right into a tree at 90mph, that was 20 years ago now, but I had been drinking alcohol and felt invincible. I will own another slc vr6 one day, I paid 2100 for mine, now it would go for 20,000! Cause it was flawless, other than needed a new synchro for 1st-2nd gear, if they can replace them, mine was bad and would crunch bad when driving aggesive from 1st to 2nd. Great car, and video!

Cool dude and good looking car. 2 Corrections.... 1 - What you open it's the wastegate, probably venting to the air, or to the exhaust, not a dump; 2 - The wipers it's completly the other way round, you sacrifice form, for function... where function is driving!

+Pedro Teixeira a wastegate is different dude, he's talking about an electronic dump, wastegates are always active controlling boost pressure with different rated springs

+cunty balls This car has no audible dump! It's probably dumping to the intake. When he "opens the valve" you hear the sound changes under aceleration. That's the sound of a wastegate venting to atmospher. Google: wastegate to atmosphere ;) That's what probably that "vavle" does, is to switch between venting to the downpipe or to atmospher.

+Pedro Teixeira Dumping to the intake? that makes zero sense, Marcus is talking about an electronic butterfly valve fitted upstream of the mufflers which when opened bypasses the resonators and mufflers leading to the sound you hear, you can hear the exhaust sound change as soon as he opens it before he even rolls on the throttle it "dumps" the exhaust right out of the downpipe. An external vented gate is different and sounds different.

+Jolinator A dump valve is on the intake, not on the exhaust! Where it reciculates the excess turbo pressure to the air, or back to the intake. What you are talking about is called an exhaust bypass valve, not a "dump" valve.

+Pedro Teixeira An exhaust bypass valve is what is what marcus is talking about, we are not talking about diverter valves or bovs here, if you had an electronicly controlled bov/diverter/dump valve firstly if you opened it it wouldnt change the exhaust sound, and secondly your car would never make boost as you now have a Massive intake leak think about it.. notice how the sound of the exhaust changes before he rolls onto boost. people also call exhaust cut outs/bypass valves or dump valves. it was implied common knowledge.
