Every team celebrates when they make the post season. Then they celebrate again when they win the division. It’s been going on for years. And you chose to open this segment with complaining about it?

Right. Unbelievable complaining. Our team makes the post seaoson and that's the first thing that comes to their minds?

Tell me you don’t watch the guardians by not telling me you don’t watch the guardians: “Eli Morgan is the only guy in the bullpen who scares me” - Jay Crawford
@George50809Ай бұрын
Eli came through in the tenth. Of course, he should not have loaded the bases, but he did.
@RageOhioАй бұрын
Prior to Eli coming back he struggled quite a bit. He was getting rocked almost every other game in big time situations. Luckily hes back pitching solid, and seems reliable like he was in 2022. I can see Jay's point but theres no reason to even mention it because Eli has shown nothing but command and strength since his return.
@ernieestrella6766Ай бұрын
Crawford is an idiot. Barlow and Sandlin are the sketchy guys coming in, especially given those situations, one run or less situations. Ulcer inducing. Morgan is rarely put in the position to make high pressure pitches. He is usually put in when the lead is big, or we are chasing runs. That said, he has usually been solid in those situations, especially when healthy.

7 walk off wins this year and at least 3 came against Minnesota, The Will Brennan home run off Duran, Rochio, and now Gimenez that has to be demoralizing having the twins give up 3 wins at least

If you win your division, you should be rewarded with a first round bye. It is ridiculous that one of the division winners has to play a 2 out of 3 series in the wild card round.
@George50809Ай бұрын
I see your point, but in the NFL, only the team with the best record gets a first round bye. The other three division winners play Wild Card weekend games.
@thewizardofoz511Ай бұрын
This title is cap tbh.. it's actually the Detroit Tigers.. like literally, how can you ignore what they've done??.. if you think about their story and then I'm selling at the deadline and them actually getting better after that, having the best record since August 10th and all of the MLB.. I think they're like 20-9 since then .. and just being as young as they are and the third youngest team in the league is just absolutely insane.. NO ONE saw the Tigers coming.. and they're young and dangerous.. they're basically like a bunch of college dudes just playing the game they love and don't even realize they're supposed to be this good or something.. HELL, all Detroit sports teams seem to have that same Detroit Swagger in up and comingness when you think about it.. don't sleep on the Tigers

The White Sox are 36-120.
@titansrule72Ай бұрын
but can they manufacture runs in the playoffs? playing the twins crap bullpen is not what they will see. they have to get base runners on, get them over and get them in. their margin for error is the smallest of any al team because they go so cold on offense.
@George50809Ай бұрын
You may be right. It will be interesting to see how they play. It would be nice to get two out of three in St. Louis this weekend.
@sonic-qh7edАй бұрын
scoring runs has and prob will be our downfall in playoffs we just dont generate enough offence and have to depend on our pitching mostly our bullpen to win games
@titansrule72Ай бұрын
@@sonic-qh7ed yep. if they hadn't abandoned their 1st half approach they would have ran away with the al wins total up over 100. kwan really effed himself when he started hitting lasers out of the park and was never the same. jose wasnt the same after participating in the hr derby either. those guys were the catalyst for the offense the whole season until their bats slowed down. not sure you can get that rhythm back after its gone.
