i was about to ponder how reading these books as a preteen altered my life but then it struck me one of the plot points is Massie convincing Alicia to tell her her biggest secret so it’ll create a bond that will make it difficult for either of them to break, and in a state of intense adolescent loneliness i told who i considered my best friend that i was this other girl’s biggest fan and really admired her, just hoping it would bring us closer but it completely backfired and she told everyone i was a lesbian and that’s how i learned i was gay. and for some reason the other half of the story where Massie spills Alicia’s secret and ruins their relationship never ever crossed my mind that it would happen to me as well. Life imitates art
@Babylailaa3 жыл бұрын

I've read all the novels. This is a whole series. Massie is outta control with how savage she can be.

Kristen and Dylan (and arguably Alicia) weren’t even that mean though on their own, only when Massie provoked them

This video had me in tears lmao. I love The Clique even at my big age of 24. Shit is hilarious.

I remember I was only obsessed with the books because I like Blair’s clothing and at some point I saw previews for Gossip Girl years later and was like “omg Massie started a trend” 🤪.

this was my childhood treasure. i remember all the clothes from the clique being so fashionable and i aspired to own clothes like them. my favourite was alicia. i remember in the book alicia and her cousin were called the '20s' because of their bust size and massie hated it cause she couldn't be a part of it.

“Um, conversation between the taco and burrito, NACHO”😂😂😂 At first I was like, “she got a little ghetto accent all of a sudden”😂 so I kept rewinding it cuz I talk like that but then I heard the food joke which made it ten times funnier
