I wouldn't say the explosion of Cloverfield Station created the monsters and aliens but rather reached across different universes snatching them up and deposited them in others. Much like the effects of an ocean wave on the shoreline.

Sabastian Weagley well, her traveling back to the right home checks out when her husband demands them to tell her not to come back from the station and they tell him she couldn't stay up there. So she did get home. In that same call, her husband says they don't know what these things are. So I take that to mean it's the first time a Clover monster had ever been seen and "these things" would mean more than one. And it was said it sounded like an explosion when they appeared, so I'm going to say the station's Earth was ground zero and that's where the baby Clover's parents were sent.

Arjay King unless it's one of those scenes that is made to appear that way, when it's possible that if she ripped thru one universe, multiple universe's were disrupted, she could have phoned an entirely different one, and another her phoned her universe. Notice how they never mentioned who she was traveling with? I mean, it couldn't possibly been just that simple to get back to her right universe on the first try? Just a thought! I may be making it far more complex then it has to be though lol

I agree with your theory except that I think its clear that the monsters and aliens were brought from another reality into alternate earths/times by the Shepard rather than, as you say created by the Shepard. I don't see how a particle accelerator could create demons/monsters and aliens. They get to where they are in the various movies the same way that the blond engineer ended up fused into the stations paneling. Its a melding of universes.

Brian Gaston I wouldn't say it's clear, but that that possibility is a likely one. It could also be that the beings were awakened from a dormant state by the blast of the accelerator or that the accelerator opened a portal that allowed beings from other dimensions to purposefully travel into the original universe rather than being pulled or transported into it unwillingly.

I at least appreciate the effort put into the film, and the acting wasn't all too bad as far as I had seen at least. To each their own. I'm not even saying that this is my favorite film, that goes to 10 Cloverfield Lane, but I would be lying if I didn't say that I am not more excited to see what the future holds for this multiverse of films!! I enjoyed the movie mostly because I am biased towards space movies. And my love of the cloverfield universe certainly helped. My biggest problem with it is that it established Multi-verses. I really dislike Multi-verses because if something big happens in the future movies, it almost doesn't matter because there is another universe where that didn't happen so it doesn't carry a lot of weight with it.

Love your videos as always! I took a different view with the films personally. I feel Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Lane and Cloverfield Paradox all happen in the same universe and continuum. Very good breakdown, but I have one issue. The monster at the end of The Cloverfield Paradox is not confirmed to be an adult. Many have suggested (myself included) that it's size was not meant to be taken seriously and was more of a dramatic effect than anything. This is supported by the scene earlier in the film where the husband character discovers the little girl in the ruined building and he sees the silhouette of the monster, which is about the same size as it was in the original film.

I totally understand and agree with the whole time travel paradox thing, but I don’t see why all of these movies have to be taking place in a different universe. Maybe Cloverfield Paradox alone takes place in its own universe, but Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Lane can still take place in the same timeline, given previous theories about the universe. I think the idea is pretty possible and probably will be confirmed. But honestly, I don't like it. Every movie ever made already takes place in a different universe from the rest. So I don't really see how this makes it anymore interesting. I have a theory on how it could all still be connected, while keeping some of the evidence you used in your first few videos. I agree that the Shepard brought the monsters in from another reality, and placed them there. But, I believe that, besides the the beginning and end of paradox, they are all connected. In my eyes, the timeline goes Like this: Shepard explosion, 2008 cloverfield, 2009 to 2015 they kill clover, the aliens come down, having been mad about the clover incident, 2016 10 cloverfield, then we get into the parts I have little evidence about... after that, it COULD all be unseen, but I believe the remaining humans, known to exist because of the end of 10cloverfield, they kill the aliens, whether with shepard parts, or somthing else, or they make some, peace treaty with them. Then, the alternate universe from paradox happens, still having little resorces, maybe from fighting the aliens, or that maybe that giving them some resorces WAS the peace treaty, but either way, the now ever growing population go to war over the remaining resorces after the shepard crashes. If you liked this theory enough, I give you premition ti use it in a video. I actually really hope you do.

My theory might be hard to follow, but I’ll try my best to explain it. Here we go: Cloverfield Paradox introduced the concept of multiple timelines. My theory is that each timeline plays out exactly the same up until a certain point. For the “Monster Timeline” of the original Cloverfield, that “certain point” was when the monster attacked New York, but the events of 10 Cloverfield Lane and Paradox didn’t happen. The “Alien Timeline” didn’t have the New York monster attack, but instead had an alien invasion in 2016 (the events of Paradox didn’t happen either). Cloverfield Paradox _initially_ takes place in the “Energy Crisis Timeline”, where neither the monster attack or alien invasion happened, meaning there were no distractions when it came to dealing with the global energy crisis so everyone put there all into making The Shepard. Now I want you to think of each timeline as a string. When The Shepard was first activated 20 minutes into the movie, it seriously damaged space/time, all the strings are now knotted together in the middle. Main scientist man (forgot his name) describes the timelines as “melding” together. This was why everything got weird on the Station, but space/time itself was trying to sort things out in a natural way (or at least as natural as fixing space and time can get). It is slowly unknotting each string. But because each timeline is knotted together, some things are bleeding into each other, such as the New York monster arriving in the Energy Crisis Timeline half way through the film. But the key thing is that it’s slowly and naturally getting fixed, if left alone everything would eventually sort itself out. Unfortunately it wasn’t left alone. This unknotting of space/time was a very delicate process, so when The Shepard was activated a second time at the end of the film, every timeline was in a fragile position. The Shepard’s second activation caused Space/Time to, for lack of a better way to describe it, panic. It took all the strings and just threw them together. Now all the strings are knotted together in a ball. There are no longer multiple timelines, there is now just one singular timeline, the timeline those two characters came back to at the end of the film. Let’s call this the “Paradox Timeline”. And in this Paradox Timeline, everything is happening at once. We’ve got a monster attack and an alien invasion happening at the same time (however The Shepard started working right at the end of the film so we don’t have an energy crisis to deal with too, so that’s something I guess). What I think will happen is that whatever the big fucked up thing in Cloverfield 4 is, by the end of that film it will join up with the rest of the things in this Paradox Timeline. Same with Cloverfield 5, 6, 7, or however many films there are. Think of this like a child collecting toys. We started with a monster toy (Cloverfield) then we got an alien toy (10 Cloverfield Lane). The Cloverfield Paradox gave us a toy box to put all the toys in. We’re going to keep filling up this box with new toys with every new Cloverfield film. The final film will be us tipping out the toy box and having one big play session with all the toys: a battle royal between all the monsters, the aliens, all the things.

The Paranormalist when you take out the lore and such, it's objectively bad. There's no real focus, none of the characters are fully developed, and the whole thing barely had any tension. Plus, the world building sucked and the whole thing left me feeling disappointed.

Because it was rushed, this movie was never intended to be apart of the cloverfield universe...or, should I say.. *MuLtIvErSe?!* Uh, I hated that concept of the movie! The whole idea behind the cloverfield franchise was a series of loosely related movies all taking pace on the SAME earth! Anyways, what happened with this movie is that it was originally going to be a separate movie with a different name entirely, but after J.J. Abrams got his hands on it, he decided to mutate it to match a cloverfield setting...and, it was rushed and horrible..
