Why? They found his car BEFORE he was reported missing. No sign of the driver, no blood, no body. no foul play, no signs of injury. You want the police to pick up everything they see on roadways? After reported missing, it is still just an accident scene with no sign of foul play. Now if someone had found a dead body, they would have multiple starting points for the investigation, including the crash scene. People doped up (meth?) strip because their body temps are high...I am not implying he was an addict.

I live in Luling, TX. Would it interest anyone here to know that the city board voted to require billboards to be taken down for him? Ok technically not ‘him’ but they put a time limit on how long a billboard can run then once down cannot be put up again. Nothing shady there, right 🙄🙄🙄 There are those in the community that have worked to get JL’s story out. They run all sorts of ideas but none of them believe it was a crazy accident without any measure of innocent involvement by another. It’s dirty and we know it.
@bonbondidit14 ай бұрын
The ex detective refused to open a criminal case or consider foul play based on the small amount in Jasons BP 800-900 ft from the crash scene. So because of this Jason AND the entire family had their rights denied. I wonder when the detective texted the victim's father with horrendous texts and other victims in other cases the detective was involved in and got FIRED because of, HELPED OR FURTHER injured this case? What an arrogant SOB. The only thing collected was the BP with the small amount of MJ in it. What was left behind? The clothes on the ground and his watch underneath his shirt. His shoes (slides), socks, shirt, ball cap, underwear. His backpack with gaming device inside, wallet with ID and cards all still in it, his fish in the tumbler. His toiletry bag was separated from the BP and on it's own in the grass. The DPS Trooper chose to leave this ON the ground after being told by dispatch there was blood on the clothes. HE NEVER WENT TO THE CLOTHES and left them on the ground. WTH?! They called the tow yard and had it towed without ever going inside. The phone was pinged at 2:12am 12-14 by dispatch. Why did they not retrieve the phone in real time? Why did Kent (Jason's father) have to find his sons clothes on the ground and also be the one to find the phone in the car where it pinged to and bring it to them HIMSELF? Why was this det. assigned the case but points to DPS as the only one in charge when it was a split case;one a vehicle accident two, a missing person? Then when it became solely CCSO's case he REFUSED to factor foul play? BTW the phone was under the drivers seat and the charging cord STILL PLUGGED into the console was leading straight to the phone under the seat. It (charging cord) was glowing at the console and visible when DPS and VFF looked into the window. The math was 1+1; their math looked like 1+G=X

I’ve said it before and I’ll keep commenting this on all Jason Landry videos. Kallen Kipp knows more. He was at the site when the police arrived around 12am but Verizon pinged Jasons phone at 2 am on Hoover street which is 2 miles away from Kallen’s home on Mimosa Ave. And the dad happened to find Jason’s phone inside the car again when he found the towed car in the morning??? Kallen has been cleared because he passed a lie detector test in 2023. 3 years after Jason has been missing. The way he described Jason as a possible naked guy plotting?? My first thought would be someone is in danger if they crashed and I find their clothes behind not a naked guy “plotting”. Justice for Jason!!!!

It absolutely wouldn't be unusual for a college guy to smoke some pot every once in a while...I don't know why his dad is upset that that info is getting out. I suspect that the young man smoked a little before he left...but it ended up more than what he thought. He toughed it out until he was almost home but didn't want to show up at his conservative parents' house higher than a kite, so decided to turn off his Waze and veer off into some woods to sober up, hit a tree instead disabling his car, panicked, and eventually ran off. Would explain why he never called his parents for help, bc he'd have to explain why he was stuck in some woods late at night. The obvious scenario I see is he was followed and forced down the dirt road. They (more than one person) rammed his car to disable it. One, maybe two vehicles. They pulled Jason out, went through his car, forced him to remove his clothing (these people were sick and wanted to torture and humiliate him for fun). The men took him with them. I don't even want to begin to imagine what happened next, but Jason didn't survive. There are many places to dump remains. Nothing was ever talked about again. Suspects could even be serving time for other crimes. It's incredibly sad when a family has to live with the unknown. Your brain can never rest and be completely satisfied with an assumption or hypothesis.

Funny that he never calls his parents for help...probably doesn't want to explain why he is in the woods late at night and hit a tree. Poor young man...he's probably curled up somewhere in the woods passed away.

Sadly he showed interest in weed and this is not character assassination. There's a strong possiblity that he may have crossed paths with some shady weed dealer who may have harmed him and disposed of the body. Ppl just don't disappear off the face of the earth and leave no trace unless someone doesn't want them found - this screams murder

My heart hurts for Jason’s family. I’m so sorry the police treated that obvious crime/investigation scene like garbage. The chaos of that scene says break with reality. Could be K2 , (I’ve seen people have to be taken to the hospital after a few hits) could be some of the harder items that have been popping up in many areas like DMT, or a bad trip on mushrooms. There is a noticeable physical change in style from one set of photos to the next. Having been a part of drug culture for the better part of my teens, I can say he was very comfortably become a part it and all that comes with it. (I hope you know I’m saying this with utmost respect) I’m bringing this up because it’s never just pot. It’s everything under the sun and often times unsavory people who don’t want to get to know. I’m hoping you guys keep strong and find your boy !

Naked does make me think drugs. Although no judgement. Plenty of highly successful, intelligent people have smoked weed in their youth. In the next press conference, i would specifically ask the person who sold him the drugs to anonymously call just to explain if there were any complaints that the weed was tainted in some way. An answer could help with closure.

Between this case and the Uvalde shooting, I have no respect for TX law enforcement. So much for a "law and order" red state....
@RepentfollowJesus4 ай бұрын
Hold on though. Not all cops are the same. That's like saying women can't drive. We have police in NE Texas that my husband worked with and around for years. They were VERY UPSET about the Uvalde case. They said we are trained to run TOWARD the fire NOT AWAY from it. If our local officers had been there they would have given their lives for those kids. And in the 90s I knew lots if DPS officers that would have gone in after those kids. It's true, there are some cowards or lazy cops in Texas just like any other state. But by no means is it all of them. Some are very very good officers. The worst are usually the youngest that think they are gonna change the world until a couple years go by and they see they can't. Abd sometimes those who are about to retire in a year or two and don't want to die right before they get to enjoy retirement with their wife and grandchildren. Plus all this persecution of police and defending kinda takes the wind out if their sails. And none are paid much. Our police get paid so little they are actually eligible for food stamps. And they all must have a roommate or a working wife to be able to survive. They only get 20 to 30 k a year or so. While sports figures get to have a blast and get paid millions for it. Same with actors. Teachers and police should be paid the big bucks as they risk their lives daily. And are under tremendous stress and ptsd.

Oh and by the way. Most cities in Texas are blue. It's the governor that is making this a red state.

@@RepentfollowJesus I sincerely apologize; I see the antics of Gov. Greg Abbott and Sen. Ted Cruz and know little about parts of the state that are home to sane normal folks. I dated LEO's in my youth and was a prosecutor for a few years. I remember in 1982 living in one half of a duplex and the highway patrolman next door was making $15k per year. I always have believed teachers and law enforcement officers are undervalued and underpaid. (aka @trialgoddess)

I dont think dads hung up on the marijuana hes just someone who understands the law very well he thinks like a lawyer. Respect to him for not wanting to judge his son specifically because he doesn't want them to be ho hum because the Police have already judged him as a runner.

It’s extremely unprofessional for the investigators to release footage of him smoking, and NO it’s not related to the case. I live in a small town a few minutes away. I’ve been here since moving out of San Antonio. There is so much raw land everywhere where his car and other items were found. I think it could have began with road rage and escalated from there. For sure someone knows something about this. Please come forward if you have a relative or friend that you suspect. They will continue hurting others if you do not come forward.

I'm so sorry for your loss I would be devastated if something happened to my Daughter's and 5 Grandchildren 3 over the age of 21. But I feel like the Police doesn't care about finding your Son Jason and just because he smokes pot doesn't make him a bad person. But they have got to try and find this Familys son. And I pray that the Man that was found in New York is their son so they will have closure 💖

Similar to other cases over the past few years in huge open wild areas. People are under the influence, crash, are likely injured, or at least dazed. They aren’t thinking straight and wander off into the wild.

The properties in that area need to be searched underneath and between the walls.
