The show was animated by Cartoon Network Development Studios Europe (now called Hanna Barbera Studios Europe) it’s basically a UK division of Cartoon Network who are also known for the series The Adventures of Prince Ivandoe. They also did a couple of co-productions in the past for shows like Robotboy, Hero 108, The Cramp Twins, Fat Dog Mendoza and Chop Socky Chooks.

The reason why people compare peppa pig and bluey, is because they're both about an animal family of 2 parents and 2 kids. Plus, peppa pig actually inspired bluey. I mean, seriously, the creator saw peppa pig, and wanted something like it for australians, but he also decided to just make it actually really really good.

The Amazing World of Gumball is one of my all time favorite shows. That show combines surrealism and breaks the rules of logic, while being one of the most hilarious shows I've ever seen. Fact: Bluey > Peppa Pig

The concept of scrap never really died out in the original series, as it's still brought up well into the full CGI era. I mean there's literally an episode in s19 where a rumor, which is was untrue, that Toby was going to be scrapped 'The Truth About Toby', and they also establish in s18's 'Toad's Adventure' that Oliver seems to enjoy recounting the story of his and Toad's escape from scrap.

Oh yes, I totally agree with you about the season 3 of Hilda. I liked season 1, really liked season 2, loved the movie but freaking adored season 3. And here comes the part where I geek out about it as much as I can because by Hylia there was a LOT to dig about that season when I analysed it (which I usually do with the things I like for some reason). Spoilers by the way: The way death is pretty present in this season. Firstly with the "fairy mounds". Since most of the time they were ancient graves from very ancient people that regular ancient people (ancient people that's less ancient that the very ancient people) mistook for something mystical...I don't know if it was the inspiration to make the fairy isles pretty much the afterlife in season 3, a place where it's easy to go but impossible to return from, where time doesn't pass, where Hilda's grandparents are... And Hilda's father after he was "crushed" by a troll. A place where Hilda arrives on a boat like she just crossed the Styx. A place where Hilda and her friends had to be dugged out of the first time they accidentally stumbled there... Seriously, with that reading, the finale goes from being amazing to being freaking metal. Almost forgot to mention the deerfoxes being able to cross over through aurora borealis, those were also considered to be the bridge between the living and the dead by the people pf North America. The way Ryan Carlson, the music composer behind the show's themes, used ancient chords in the fairy isles musical motive to give the place an out of time vibe, Aeolian mode or mode of A (the note), a form of minor scale different from the usual and more recent harmonic minor scale which was used in ancient Greece and actually gave birth to the modern minor scale I mentioned (major scale coming from the mode of C or Ionian mode which is exactly the same thing as the modern major scale). It was used by the ancient Greeks to express laments by the way, so totally in tune with the Fairy Isles. The way it somehow outdid the movie when it tied everything together at the end and tied even more things together by addressing questions we never even had but were right there from the start. Not that Hilda had a weirdly absent father that might or might not have been "ded", I and the other Hilda fans definitely wondered about that several times and even thought at one point that the bell keeper might be him (which I'm sure the showrunners made fun of at the end by making these two very specific characters bump into each other in the epilogue). More like the hair colour which we assumed was just a stylistic choice since most things in this show were either blue or orange, and why Hilda and Johanna lived in that far off valley all "alone" at the beginning of the show/comics. Or even dumber details like why Hilda flew during the opening credits. I'm kinda bummed that this show ended, the comics is not exactly the same sadly, it lacks Frida and David for one thing. It is a great comics and one that I'll definitely keep reading but it's not the same. But at least the show went with a bang. Oh, by the way, I highly encourage people that enjoyed this show to check Ryan Carlson's youtube page where he put all its OST: kzbin.info/door/NVhgkbQfE4SbDhHKKh9pEw ... I like this show a lot okay?!

Jambareeqi, if you wanna see some more classic Thomas content, I recommend the Trampy Movies. They're basically adaptations of the first few stories from the Railway Series, and great adaptations of that. -While some stories remained relatively unchanged, other stories have elements that shake things up and make the stories feel like new experiences. -The characters are quite a bit meaner than they are in the show (Except for Edward and Percy, who are arguably NICER than they were in the show), but they all still feel like the same characters we've always known them as, and the movies do manage to give reasons for their behaviors. -Kyle, the guy behind this series, voices EVERY SINGLE character, and he does such a great job of making them all sound distinct, and different from each other. And he ESPECIALLY does a good job at screaming, which happens a LOT. -While their is some swearing throughout the series, it's mild and happens sparingly, so the movies never feel TOO adult.

I used to really like Peppa Pig cause it was eerily close and relatable to my family. Like my brother is obsessed with dinosaurs and had the exact same cry as george, also one time a psychiatrist thought he was a different kid and called him George for a month. My dad is the exact same as daddy pig and even played the accordion and the song he’d play to me to get me to sleep (he thought it was taking the piss lol). He and his brother once fell asleep to me reception play in almost a complete recreation. I once got a self insert book when I was three, and they just put a random human into the artsyle, and even as a toddler I thought it was very uncreative and stupid lol.

22:27 the reason why both narrators sound off in season 12 is because originally the narrator for season 12 was going to be narrated by Pierce Brosnan he did narrate all the episodes of season 12 because all the lip movements where animated to his voice however for some unknown reason he called it quits and they had to quickly get the original narrators. However since the lip syncing was already animated and there was limited time left before season 12 met its release deadline they had to rush narration but they also had to try and sync their voices to the pre animated lip syncs.
