I thought length adjustment was the first adjustment to make before circumference adjustments. Thankyou for the tutorial, it helps a lot to see it done.

I just found your channel. Every pant adjustment in one go. It's so useful. Thank you. I make jeans and after having done a full seat adjustment of 1 inch, I have excess fabric under the butt. What do I do?

I would have to see the whole fit. Do you have folds? You may have done a bit too much of a full seat adjustment. Or, it could be a rise issue. If you like, post pics on the Dorothy’s Daughter Community Facebook and tag me, and I will try to make some suggestions.

Excellent series and easier to understand the principles than some I have seen. I am not able to join Facebook sewing group but will rely on KZbin. I would give feedback that you are a great advocate for Love Notions but I had to enter the Duets trousers into their search engine to find it. Just looking under pants did not bring it up.

I bought a pattern and fabric to make an outfit which I believe is fairly simple (New Look 6566) which I misread and is a misses and I am a woman size. Do you think I will be able to extent the pattern enough to accommodate my size? They don’t make a woman’s size.

It depends on the specific sizes. Grading a pattern up is definitely doable, but much easier if they are only one or two sizes different.

Hi Kim🙂 Hope you are having a lovely Thanksgiving and visit with your Brother and Sister in Law. Not sure if you planned on fabric shopping in San Antonio? Love to see that if you do! Thanks for reminding me about the pants series, I'm the size you used to be. Lower front crotch rise, longer back crotch rise, always getting lines below my bum with to much fabric in the back. I enjoyed your video. My problem is my waist is too small but my hip is good .my waist is 38" and my pattern is 32" how can I increase my waist amount to the 38" My hip measurement is 41"

Hi Sherryl - I have done mostly livestreams. lately as I am preparing to have surgery. It was supposed to be the 12th but is delayed to the 26th because I had Covid. This past 9 months have been trying. I lost my husband to a sudden heart attack in May, and then had major life changes as I moved closer to my children. I am doing fine, and after this back surgery, I will work my way back to my 2 videos per week. I do have some livestreams up there, one every week except this past week.

I knew you sustained the loss of your husband and then moved. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers. I am also an RN and have had one neck surgery, two back surgeries bilateral total knee replacement and both of my feet had to be rebuilt. You will be in my prayers for healing. Hi, Sherrel! My Bible study channel is Every Thought Captive youtube.com/@everythoughtcaptive7439 I got a certificate of Worship Arts & Leadership from Mid America Christian University. It was all online, and I learned so much. I’m not sure they still have the program, but it was so worth it. Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers. I am doing well. A little setback this past week as we had another death in the family. My mother-in-law passed away, and the funeral was Saturday. It was a bit difficult as it made me feel like I lost another piece of my hubby. I had a beautiful mother in law. She was still classy at 93.
