I am trying to find a way I can show when one item is removed from the shelf and put on a build. I am a boat dealer and when I take a component off the shelf and put on a boat package on the lot, I need it to show that item as in a different location so I will not think my count is off when doing physical inventory count in the parts room.

I have the enterprise version.I click advanced inventory settings and checked multipl inventory sites.I added sites but from some reason I dont find Site column in the PO (I tried to add it in the customize data layout but couldnt find it in column tab). In the sale order it apears. Can you help me to figure out why please?

I notice at the 3:04 mark you have attempted or accomplished methods for truck deliveries??? Was this used to control inventory on the truck then at the end of each day adjust inventory back at the warehouse? Is it a pain or did you have good success?

Hi Ron, It is used to control delivery of inventory on the truck. You still have to adjust inventory back at the warehouse with an invoice or transfer items that get taken off the truck. It can be a success but I think Intuit needs to add a transfer inventory function on the scanner.

No. Landed cost is used for shipping costs, insurance costs and duty fees. You would use labor costs with assembled items (kits).

How you add the Bin location to the sales order to show at the pick list on the mobile device ?

You would need to have QB Enterprise Platinum Subscription. You would need to add the multiple warehouse feature within the program in preferences. That feature allows you to add the bin location within the sales order and then also will show on the mobile device.

IS the lot number feature either ON or OFF for all your items? There are a significant amount of items that do not require lot numbers yet in each transaction the box always comes up. We have a select group of items that we need the lot number for. Is it possible to only have those items require it?

You can set your permissions to either make it required to have a lot number or to warn you that there is not a lot number added.

I have a question if they have check warehousing in QB, because one of my client's is Real Estate Company. Most of their House & lot buyers, issued a lot of Post Dated Checks payment for house and lot, but the client want to monitor in QB the PDC checks. It's possible to manages in Qb. Thanks

You can post date a check and it will show as cashed on the date of the check in QuickBooks.
