I dare assume the irony isn't lost on any of us that we are watching this particular episode on youtube.

Many of us have been working from home since even before this episode was broadcast. I think people often forget that.

Visionary re paper. In the 1990s people spoke of the paperless office, but he sensibly says people still like to read things on paper.

15:15 speedy :) Whenever I hear of folks complaining about internet speed I always think of my old 2400 baud modem. I know it is comparing apples to oranges but anyway makes me smile.

Really interesting segment. In so many ways they were dead on - the advent of online shopping for example. Still they would be shocked to see the pile of mail I need to shred with just 6 months of mail.

As the part of the programme featuring Leslie was filmed prior to the studio parts , I suppose she was working from home in 1981. Possibly she was doing so prior to 1981. Amazing!

In the future you could "work from home". 2020 certainly made that comment a bit more chilling.
