One day, when the dust has settled, there will be hundreds of videos talking about Concord’s failure and analyzing the downfall of Concord. Some of those videos will show gameplay as it was; some of those videos will discuss how different characters played. Those videos will be useful for gaming historians, but this video will be of particular interest to them. This video details the trophies and the experience of getting them. It shows a Concord gaming community. It even has an example of how the game could be exploited. It shows the final hours of Concord while a team of players race against Sony’s cruel deadline to achieve platinum. You and your fellow trophy hunters have given a gift to future historians looking into the current biggest flop in video game history. You were robbed but at least some people managed to get the platinum. You deserve a platinum trophy for this video and its potential benefit to video game history.

Mechanics don't sell, I've learned. As a massive SoulCalibur V fan, I can tell you the mechanical feels of it is immaculate. But they screwed the pooch on roster cuts (and roster changes to some degree, but the replacements are largely fine) , story, and single player content in general, so it gets bullied and called the worst in the franchise and cursed. For a fighting game, I can still enjoy it because mechanics are everything, but other people couldn't forgive it's mistakes let alone Concord's

One thing that stood out to me was how completely uninspired the trophies were. Unless I missed some, it seems literally every one was "get to this number of thing by grinding". Nothing fun or slightly interesting like a long-range kill, a clutch kill with 1 HP, getting a big comeback win or anything else that took me a minute to think up. Kind of sums up the entire paint-by-numbers theme of game; just nothing interesting. (As such, thanks for cutting out most of the character grinding, making the video still good to watch).

Hopefully you can get it once the game goes free to play (if it does, but i'd expect them to at least try that). I really don't get Sony's business decisions. They'll spend so much money to make a game that's going to release in an oversaturated market, at a $40 price tag while the competitors are free to play (and that price tag also means a monthly PS+ subscription is required on console, discouraging anyone who mainly plays this genre of games from even giving it a try since they likely wouldn't already have PS+ when they're playing free to play games with free MP), and when the competitors are on more platforms... @@Norenity it wouldn't be the first time that a game company switched a game to f2p and had it succeed. swtor pull that trick and it worked out. also i've seen a lot of hate for the game's character designs but looking at it's concept art and the designs are much more awesome than what was implimented i am guessing due to hardware limiations or some other factor

I totally agree, at least games like overwatch asks you to use the kit or main gameplay of the character to unlock trophies/achievements. Concord had the biggest copy and paste list I’ve quite possibly ever seen!
