the only thing that “scared” people in the movie theater i went to was the part when it showed that ed and lorraine were going to massachusetts and almost everyone gasped during it because no one was expecting to see our state in the movie 😭😭✋.

I don't know if animals being possessed is a thing, but there is a thing called "Familiar" pets which is basically spirits that can transform as animals that help accommodate witches (which is very fitting for this movie)

Actually this is my favorite for me it was perfect, it wasn’t really that scary (the reason people don’t like it) but story and plot wise it was the best of them all and it felt so much real than the others so that was a plus for me. It’s so underrated definitely ❤️

The movie wasn't bad. But it wasn't good either. No scares. Standard plot with obvious reveals. The cast tried hard. But was everything lit by candles? Even when lights were on, the room was dark. A cheap setting trick. Sad third installment of a once-promising franchise. It has fallen into standard hollywood schlock horror hell.
