Mike Lessard sets the standard for singers of this genre and all of todays metal bands. If you can't sing your parts live then you don't deserve to sing at all. Also 14:37 FUCK that's heavy

I disagree. Not that he isn't amazing live, but I think Tommy Rogers of BTBAM has set the standard for metal vocalists. He's been fucking amazing his entire career. I've also seen them live four times and can confirm how good he and everyone in the band is live.

That part blows my mind, I'm quite proud of my own harsh vocals but holy shit is that part I-N-S-A-N-E, I mean he manages to cut through all the instruments without the mic at that part so easily. The guy already has some fantastic unique clean vocals but that technique also makes him stand out as a harsh vocalist imo. Michael deserves all the credit he can get for his craft, his technique and contextual timing when he takes liberties like that truly make him a vocalist to be remembered many decades from now.
