Sounds like the JCB has a turning radius like my F350 dually! It's a great truck. Will tow anything, but takes a lot of space to turn around. 🤔 Great series, my friend! 😎👍

there is a hitch on the forage harvester that you can hook to your trailer so you will not require 2 people for harvesting or pickup. There is a header that cuts grass and will pick up at same time as well. Also, tmr ration is 40/40/20 to make it easy for amounts.

Towing a trailer with a forage harvester is slower and also not realistic, stoping unhitching a trailer moving another trailer into place, removing the first trailer and re-hitching everything takes ages, much faster to have a constant stream of trailers that can drive on and the harvester is constantly moving. Same principle with the grass header too, a 4m grass header on the harvester v’s a 12m mower cut that’s been windrowed into one swath means 3x less times up and down the field to collect it. 👍

Hi FSG ,I have found the best total mixed ration ratio is two silage bales ,2 hay bales and one hay bale. Hope this helps you get through the winter.😊

For lifting the bales would you not be better with a long low loader then you can take the jcb down on the back of it before loading to make it more efficient? Great series!

Was the breakdown of the old Claas Jaguar forage harvester purely a role-play decision, or was its replacement with the newer (base-game?) model because the modded one didn’t behave properly? The fact you are talking about keeping the newer one at Home Farm makes me think the latter! Bit late to the party but what is the point of not simply using a grass pickup wagon and dropping it like that in the bunker? Why use a forage harvester to pickup grass and dumping it into the silo?

Based on the average gross UK salary for a Farm Manager of £53,000 after tax is around £3000 a month take home, add it to the contract money, it'll get me by :)
