Glad to see JD is doing well. The paddock is sure different from the days of the factory teams. Not sure better or worse, but definitely different.

Recall when Chris Filmore competed the old Suntrust racing series. aired on TNN .. which ran a lot of AMA road racing... then. the series involved motorcycles of different brands, CCs.. faired and unfaired.. Chris was on a unfaired KTM Duke 990 and just blew past Doug Polen on his Ducati 848 .. I mean he sucked Polens face thru his helmet.. We met Chris at NJMP.. long long time ago, he as competing in either Supersport or Superbikes.. he was very kind to our 6 yr old twin boys.. all around cool guy, a lot thinner not as tall as he appears on TV.. this cat can ride ..!!!

After seeing that HD bagger at the end, it’s clear HD has the ability to make an amazing bike. I wish some of these pieces and tech would make it down to a realistically price street bike, like the Bronx.

Those race bikes are 100k Bikes. Never happen, to be even close to production bikes.

Just the swingarm on the king of bagger HD is 8 grand.. They are full factory race bikes.

Yep, I get that. I know these are expensive, custom bikes. Just saying they could use some of the lessons learned in racing and apply it to something more customer friendly. They aren’t even trying to do anything creative with their current lineup.
