Honestly idk what the big deal is. Ig it’s weird to see behind the scenes for any tiktok, but this is pretty standard stuff and the dad isn’t being aggressive at all, just giving simple instructions and both the kids seem to take the corrections well. I think seeing the behind-the-scenes humanized them more for me, they became more like real people rather than just meme characters. I was not a Costco Guys defender but now I am. If you haven’t struggled to manifest your vision for a video project while directing the other participants then you just aren’t gonna get it. You can say it’s not that serious but it’s something the dad cares about getting right.

Kangaroo self defense is to punch the Kangaroo to scare it off, because Kangaroos kicks are several times stronger than their punches and they think thats true for humans. And I'm not being a twitter armchair psychoanalyst, I'm british and grew up watching him, it's nigh blatant. In reality, homemade chicken nuggets where the extent of the 'processing' is blending it isn't bad at all and is significantly healthier than basically anything store-bought just from lack of preservatives alone. To argue blending chicken makes it unhealthy is also implicitly arguing shredding chicken with a fork is unhealthy. Same thing just faster.

I remember it being a big deal and on the newspapers that he got turkey Twizzlers banned from school lunches because they're just kinda unhealthy turkey. (It's quiet for news in england) I also distinctly remember that school lunches didn't get any better and that the obesity rate in this country went from like 20% when they were banned to 30% today, so I think that kinda speaks for itself in terms of how much impact he had.
