Something I think you could absolutely specify and say instead in your videos is that the red you complain about is *warm*, rather than orange. Its closer to orange-y tones, but its still by and large, red. Its just the wrong shade of red, a warmer tone towards the orange parts of the colorwheel, than the colder, bolder red a smidgen towards the purple parts. Searching up "warm vs cold red" is a huge help, visually for this. I've always known exactly what you mean, but, almost always, when you say 'orange' its still red, just the wrong red, and it makes you sound colorblind. Love your videos!

They really do though. Even if their agenda was to cover them up more- something that obviously the higher ups would be asking for so they can promote in more countries because places like China are very against seeing women's bodies- they failed there. Storm needs her flowy hair, her full on cape, a collar that makes sense. Magik needs to wear something that harkens back to her modern suit, or at least have an alternate design with that original suit (they can leave out alternates in international releases). Also just have the ones with busts showing as alternates too? The game has swimsuits, those obviously aren't there when pitching to China, so why not just gut a few alternate suits too that would show body parts? I mean, they're already rewriting the script for that area of the world, why not put in a little effort with the costumes?

When it comes to Wolverine's brown costume, I like to think of it as the suit he wears while on his own missions or with the avengers to show he's currently unaffiliated with the X-Men at that moment. Also I'm surprised this game didn't use Storm's Morlock leader costume with the mohawk as an alt, it fits the vibe the game seems to be going for.

I’m a HUGE Magik fan and I agree her costumes here are pretty disappointing since she’s had so many great designs over the years. For sure her black costume should be included since it’s probably her most iconic look of the modern era. I’d also love to see her silver corrupted design from the classic Inferno story which is really important to her character arc. Though it’s not one of my favorites, it also might be nice to have her current gold X Men costume since it looks pretty different from her usual looks and might be a fun bit of differentiation! If we really wanted to get different they could do a costume based on the What If? Magik Dr Strange design. Great video as always!

These were some weird designs. Wolverine’s default look in this, and his “X-Force” look both look like they’re their redesigns of the comic book X-Force look. Like when you look at a design sheet and there’s like six slightly different designs of the same thing, those two just look like they pulled two off the same sheet. That’s what those two costumes look like, (the same can be said for the two Magik New Mutants costumes) they even both have Wolverine’s Astonishing X-Men pants as opposed to the paints those costumes actually have in the comics. I’d say maybe the Magik costumes (and covering Storm up) are because someone on the Firaxis team was too prude, but they’ve got the swimsuits. So I don’t know, it seems weird the main costume she’s had since like 2013 I think isn’t the one in the game; that’s the look she’s had since being part of the X-Men. When it comes to Magik costumes you basically just need to look at Art Adams Magik art, and it doesn’t exactly seem like that’s something Firaxis did. The default Storm costume looks like they tried adding the cape neck from her original costume into that terrible X-Men: Red costume. If that’s the way they wanted to go they should’ve just given Storm her original costume. The ‘90s Storm costume is weird. It’s like a mix of the ‘91 Jim Lee version with yellow on it, and the slightly later (I think ‘94 up to around when the Onslaught stuff started in ‘96) version that dropped the yellow and shoulder pads. It’s also the worst looking version of her ‘90s costume I’ve ever seen in anything. Deadpool they should’ve given him his Ultimate costume without the mask like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 did. It’s a horror themed game, but they skipped out on the Deadpool that doesn’t have a face. X-Force not just being an alt color is odd, especially since the thing they’re calling the X-Force costume isn’t the -Force costume. Doesn’t help that what they are calling the X-Force costume in this, his Cable and Deadpool costume, is probably the worst real costume he’s had in a comic. Some version of his costume from the Joe Mad miniseries would’ve been better than the X-Force Cable & Deadpool suit they created, that’s the costume Capcom went with for Deadpool in Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Modern Deadpool, faceless Ultimate Deadpool, and mid ‘90s Deadpool all would’ve been good costumes.; while similar, they all have different suit patterns and accoutrement.

The suit your referring to for Storm is essentially, her Alan Davis "Astonishing" outfit (It's what Marvel Ultimate Alliance called it, so I call it that lol... I wonder if theres something with the way the models in this game are built that makes it difficult to change the eye color. Like maybe the eyes aren't actually part of the suit and are part of the face model instead, meaning you can't change them in a re-color. You have to change the face model entirety, requiring a different suit slot

That artwork is not from the comic books. That was for the Marvel Legends figure, and the reason it looks like that is because the figure itself (that has the y-shaped harness) is a recolor of Deadpool's older red and black costume. He does not have that harness in the comics.

So I’ve watched almost all of your suit videos. And while I agree with you on the new spiderman suit in spiderman 2018 is orange and I don’t like it. And with others I may not see it as orange but it’s a light enough red that I still don’t like it. But I feel like the red in Deadpool’s suit here is pretty red. I looked at it on my phone, computer and tv and it’s all a nice shade of red to me. So idk. Color theory is fun lol

Not gonna lie as much as I liked the Wolverine design in this game, the more I look at it the worse it looks for me. It's probably nitpicky but I don't like how "armored" and padded the suit is. Also the paneling of it is just weird. Not a fan of the brown pants. And the lack of the sharp claw like marks and iconic pauldrons makes it look a bit flat.

I think you tend to get a lot of negative feedback on these kinda videos because of your *polarizing* language. Like when you talk about a suit that’s just…kinda ok, it can feel like you’re talking about it like it killed your family. I by no means think that’s bad or you should try to talk “nicer” or something, in fact your strong opinions about stuff is one of the reasons I like your videos. I just think a lot of people take everything you say as all that you feel about the suits, so when they hear you say three or four great things about the suit, and then 5 bad things, they think you hate it.
