The cows go outside, the cafe is progressing and we explain how we started with cows - episode 44

After a mishap the night before we need to clear out the cow barn and re-bed it down, however whilst doing that Chad breaks the Manitou bucket which means there will be a costly farm repair. The cows absolutely love being outside in the field and run around like crazy. Work continues in the cafe with the inside now jet washed out and ready to start working on. Chad also explains how we became cow owners and changed from arable to a mixed farm.

Join us on our journey as we diversify our 200 acre arable farm in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Despite being the 5th generation to farm here at Horncastle Farm, we took over in 2014 with no prior farming experience. We now farm here with our two boys Herbie (6) and Arnie (4).
In 2023 we opened our doors to the public for the first time - the VLOG aims to document our journey from an arable to a mixed farm as we diversify.
