From what I can tell, I think the photos are composite images. It kinda looks like someone has (pretty damn skillfully) composited real faces with those of mannequins or fashion dolls, then evened out the skin tone. So looking at e.g 13:35, the lower half of the face is a real smiling person, while the eyes, eyebrows and possibly the bridge of the nose are from a mannequin or doll. The lower lids might be from a real human but the upper lids are not (or if they are, they've been edited to eliminate any signs of a crease.) The shape of the nose itself looks fairly organic but the nostrils have either been photoshopped out or replaced with those from a mannequin. Both the real face and the mannequin were probably splotched with red makeup before being photographed.

the combination of sabrina's actions and richard's journal feels very much like an allegory of abuse and incestuous grooming. richard brings a being into the world, without knowledge of the world and with total dependence on him for guidance. he uses this power over her to terrify her and manipulate her, abusing her both physically and mentally. when he asks her to look more like katherine (which in this theory, would be the mother) he is disgusted by her attempt, because it isn't exactly like the woman who he pines for and lusts over. eventually, sabrina becomes resentful and hateful towards him, and once she figures out that he no longer had any power over her, she killed him. the trauma inflicted on her lingers, and now she kills other people to fill the empty hole her "father" left in her.

In a lot of the images, none of the parts really seem to match up, but not in an early AI type of way. They look more like parts from different images were cut out and photoshopped together. Like a stock photo base with a mannequin face photoshopped on top of it with a model's hair cut out and photoshopped on top of that. You can even often see the line in skin tones where the face was pasted in. If there are AI-generated elements, I suspect they're being photoshopped onto otherwise real ones.

I love Sabrina. As an autistic person, I always felt alien as I grew up and still do. I like her story, learning about humanity and how flawed her beautiful it is. And her reactions to dm creeps is the best.
@kevinforbesofficialАй бұрын
Sabrina reminds me of an exaggerated version of BPD. Her entire life hangs on the approval of others - she used to be a colonial entity where you didn't have to forge relationships with others, you were automatically friends with every single entity on the planet. You didn't have emotions so she also doesn't really handle emotions very well. On a side note, I wonder if Richard had been part of Operation Paperclip. The timing would have been right. (it would be pretty fucked up for an ARG though if that turned out to be canon. Kinda exploitative.)

It's a shame that args are using ai art now :(
@nerdatelloАй бұрын
yeah :\ kinda kills a lot of the creativity out of it. like sure if you don't have photoshop skills or whatever it's one way to portray visual ideas but isn't it better to make something yourself?? isn't that the whole point of storytelling or being an author/creator??? just use a different medium. horror can be translated into so many different mediums (not even to mention what ai is doing to the industry rn)

How do people who make ARs set this stuff up? Genuinely want to know. The ones like this and the video ones that are lighter & the super intricate, detailed ones are all so good. Do they have all the material in advance? The pics/vids/written material? Do they make it up as they go? How do they bring an audience to their AR to get the interaction they need to keep it going? Especially the interactive ones? Is it usually just one person or is it more common to have multiple people involved? Is there a purpose behind them or are they just art? I have so many questions about AR creators. They're so creative. I love them so much. Pls never stop making ARs if you're an AR creator.

Even though this is probably just some arg, i like to imagine Sabrina is an ai that got "free" and now is experiencing the real world. Depression is quickly taken over. What happens when an ai becomes aware and sick of it all?

From what I can tell, Sabrina itself is a mannequin and the person behind the account would copy and paste smiling mouths on pictures of the mannequin or paste the eyes on pictures of a woman (maybe the account owner or someone they know), then they started copying and pasting the whole mannequin head onto stock photos, with or without the smile.

The only thing I find disturbing about this is how the writer seemed to be way too familiar with the sound of a dying cat. The rest being just your run-of-the-mill creepypasta ARG stuff with badly morphed stuff that directly killed the immersion from the beginning.
