Keep in mind this game only needs maps of roads, while in GTA you can go off-road. It would be absurd to make a somewhat accurate scaled down map of the US that goes off-road. Even if they did that it would need a crazy amount of storage

To be honest, devs said it´s about 40-60 minutes if you actually drive from one end to another in a normal car like the mustang or something like that (and no I dont mean crawling at 45mph), but what you did was pretty much race from coast to coast in one of the fastest vehicles in the game :p But you did a pretty good job of that, some really nice and clean driving. Also think that the Agera R is one of those cars that just looks amazing no matter what color you put on it.

r u seriously comparing a procedurally generated map to a map that is mostly handmade. I prefer quality over size. Elite is fun in VR sure but quite empty feeling

I didn't get this game because of many reasons but one thing that they did right was creating an absolutely gorgeous and massive world. They nailed the scenery of the respective biomes within the U.S. I just wish that the game didn't look like the equivalent to an open world Need for Speed: The Run but without the action. The car physics and graphics look almost the same as that game, too...

Actually The Crew 1 already had the US map as well and it looked every more diverse there. In this one the different areas look slightly more similar to each other but compared to other franchises it's still quite diverse of course.

Duglet Gaming The Agera is my favorite car as you can see in my profile pic. I have watched every video possible on KZbin that features this car. It DOES have a big similarity with the real car. I am not saying it is very close, I'm just saying I expected less from The Crew and it surprised me. One game that gets pretty close to the sound of the Agera is Grid, granted slightly muted.

its not at all realistic sounding. Cool sounding maybe, but in respect to the actual cars being represented, I'm sorry but its an absolute no. Too artificial, not enough time put into actually listening to the real life cars. People rave about how good the cars sound which, yeh to some extent they sound cool, but they dont sound real, and for actual car people, the sounds will fall short I think. Like the Camaro ZL1 in this game sounds like absolute trash. There's no growl or rumble to it. Same with the C63. Its disappointing honestly. I will also say that most of the sounds are recycled versions of other sounds with slight modifications. Some of the Ferrari's have that problem, and the Lamborghini Murcielago sounds nothing like real life. There's no scream to it. And the real kicker is why the hell does every single car in this game sound like it has a single clutch, manual transmission, even though most of the modern supercars, LIKE THE AGERA R has a dual clutch and that wavering after each shift would NEVER HAPPEN, not to mention the fact that the shift would be instantaneous. Its like they only went with what sounds cool and said f*** it to accuracy.

The map size is crazy. This is how I think Rockstar could make GTA6 with all the maps together especially new ones.
