What is "shallow frying" ?
@snoopylovez Жыл бұрын
@Marty Valle it's when you add a bit of oil to a pan to coat the base of it and then add things to fry, and once done you then turn the food on the other side to cook

Your video inspired me to adapt my savory mini waffle recipe. I had shrimp, toasted sesame oil, hemp seeds instead of sesame. They came out the perfect texture, but a bit bland. I think I'll try adding some garlic next time, or make a dipping sauce. My kitchen, however, smells ah-maaaaa-zing! Thanks for the inspiration!

Hello, great video. Are you able to tell me which oil you used please? I know that sesame oil is used a lot and burns at a higher temperature but then you wouldn't need to add sesame oil to the prawn mix. My assumption. Thanks in advance

HI ROLAND THIS 36 YRS AGO . I,VE MADE THIS IN DUBAI.BUT WE DONT ADD SESAME SEED. SESAME OIL IS OK. CAUSE SESAME SEED AND SESAME OIL WILL COVER THE SHRIMP FLAVOUR. ADD CHOP CORIANDER AND CHOP CARROT WHILE EATING YOU,LL GET THE FLAVOUR OF SHRIMP OK. ROLAND SORRY TO EXPLAIN ABOUT SESAME SEED. MINCED CARROT,CORIANDER,GARLIC IS FINE OK.

Looks fantastic I have done this recipe before. Really enjoyed it . But I think you should invest in a food thermometer a bit more accurate than a chop stick . No disrespect my friend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@spicenpans6 жыл бұрын
Thanks bro. No hard feelings at all 👍🏻👍🏻. We do have a food thermometer at home but in Chinese cooking, we don’t really use thermometers. This bamboo chopstick trick is passed down from our ancestors - even Martín Yan uses it. Its a really good way to gauge if your oil is hot enough.
