The Crusty Carlo - Volume 3 - Cooling System & Forward Facing Turbo

In this video I will show you some of the progress we've made on The Crusty Carlo shop car. In preparation for the LS4 swap, we've addressed several shortcomings of the W-Body cooling system all while making room for a 77mm forward facing turbocharger.
We've compiled an awesome assortment of products from CSF, Fragola Performance Systems as well as Bullseye Power Turbochargers.

The Crusty Carlo started life as a Dale Jr Edition 2004 Monte Carlo. As we inch closer towards yet another LS4 & 4T80E conversion, we are applying the years of data and experience accumulated to build the best representation of LS4 Performance ever seen.

So glad to see another monte carlo in your shop. I have an 03 monte carlo ss with over 270,000 miles on the Northstar engine it came with. Got it for $600 and the only issue is the fuel pump pressure sensor. Havent found any rust yet. I am very quickly becoming a student of engine science LOL

Love this video... seemed like it was 3 minutes long. Then I realized it was almost 10. I think I just need all your videos to be at least 15 minutes long. Definitely learned a thing or two about cooling systems. I think I know one of the other projects in the shop. 😂🤫
