The warning about activating Saturn in your life is prudent. It's interesting to note that in Babylonian astrology Saturn is seen as a powerful god of agriculture but one to be wary of- the greater malific. However in vedic astrology, Shani (Saturn) is very difficult but provides the opportunity for great ( perhaps the greatest) spiritual growth and karmic liberation. Saturn is interesting because I would argue the three major religions worship him lol Their description of god basically matches all the mythological depictions of Saturn. His control is such that even time and the harvest answer to him, even his own children can't escape death (Jesus sure didn't). He is the one who gives life to the harvest, he is the one who reaps the harvest. Thus he is the beginning and the end. The alpha and the omega, so to speak. Most importantly, he is the judger, and the dealer of karma. He rewards and punishes, like god is said to do. Then there's the fact that Muslims are required to walk around a black cube at least once in their life, Orthodox Jewish clergy wear black cubes on their foreheads where the pineal gland or third eye would be, and Christian Bible describes the city in heaven where god lives as a cube in the book of revelations along with using many other Saturnian symbols lol I would argue our entire wedding ritual of "putting a ring on it" is also linked to Saturn, and pretty much all Judeo-Christian "family values" are built on a foundation of Saturn worship. Even talking about female fertility or making kids and raising kids harkens back to Saturn's role as crop creator and crop reaper. They compare humans to crops a lot actually. There's a biblical phrase doomsday Christians like to use a lot to describe the time we live in, saying that Christians and Satan worshippers are being separated out by saying "Separating the wheat from the chaff", but the irony of that is its again, more Saturnian harvest references. The book of Genesis, the foundation of the bible and basically all Abrahamic religions since they all claim a similar beginning to humanity, is loaded with the same symbolism. The creation of the garden of Eden, god's command to be plentiful and abundant, Adam and Eve's eviction from the garden to live in the barrens of the desert, one gigantic story about his role as the Saturnian giver and reaper of harvest, and his role as judger, rewarder, and punisher. The center of a star of David is even on one of the poles of the planet itself, and I won't even get in to all the biblical numerology that would be tied to. Then there's the fact that black cubes show up in the culture of Abrahamic dominated countries, from statues of black cubes being erected in random places, to black cubes in logos, to an Israeli intelligence corporation naming itself Black Cube lol. Anyway, imo, most of the world is following a left hand Saturnian path. Even when they pray to god, the communications are similar to how people always depicted people asking Satan for personal favors. Its rarely for anything like world peace or a healthy world or a world without poverty, its usually selfish stuff like their own or loved ones health, or wealth, or some political figure to win an election, or to win a game, or something completely self centered. Some people even pray to win wars or go to war, they pray for campaigns of death and murder, I can't think of anything more Saturnian than that.

That is because the Abrahamic religions are Saturn worshippers, imo. Saturn is the one who issues judgement and karma. He is the creator, and the destroyer. The beginning and the end. The alpha and the omega. You'll see Jewish clergy wearing black cubes on their foreheads too. Also on the planet itself is a hexagram on one of the poles, resembling the center of a Star of David. Christianity also likes to use Saturn symbolism quite often. The Jesuits of the Catholic side of things especially use the black sun (or the hidden sun, the dark sun, the occult sun) in their IHS logos. You'll also see people with abrahamic backgrounds erecting statues of black cubes in random places lol There's also stuff about the realms of the afterlife basically being described as a cube in the bible and elsewhere. They like their cubes a lot. Edited to add you'll see black cubes in government and corporate logos of Abrahamic majority countries. There's even an Israeli intelligence organization called Black Cube.

Also look in to the founder of the Temple of Set, he was a real piece of work too. A reminder, before Hitler came along, the definition of Holocaust was "A ritual sacrifice by fire" and... there were literal ovens used to burn people. So. Thats a thing to think about too. I just ordered this book from the publisher. I look forward to the read. What happened to Saturn, if it was truly our sister star? Norman Bergrun noted the large structures that were creating the "rings", and a cymatics scientist stated that the hexagonal pattern at the "north pole" was created by a sound wave. Listening to the sound of Saturn leaves you thinking about how eerie it is.

Speaking on Saturn the deity, I choose what the writer personally discounts- Saturn as an archetypal force. It's amazing that he waited 20 years and decided to write. Intereting story.

Seems to me his years of waiting to write is a reference to The Great Conjunction, the coming together of Saturn and Jupiter (becoming one star) which takes place in cycles of 20 years. It can be interpreted as a Trinity in action, Saturn and Jupiter and their Child when both come together. I'm of the opinion that the hidden meaning of the communist flag is a reference to this cycle as well, we see a sickle, a hammer on top of each other and a star next or above them. The sickle/scythe is a reference to Saturn, the hammer to Jupiter(Thor) and the Star to the coming together of both. As we can see in the famous Worker and Kolkhoz Woman statues, Saturn would be feminine and Jupiter masculine (as forces) and therefore able to create a Child. I got problems with the idea that Saturn would be masculine, while all the symbols surrounding this force are those that used to be ascribed to the Black Goddess (the mother) with good reasons, especially to represent the cycles of Death and Rebirth which are not only materialistic but also of importance on the spiritual planes. When being impregnated with new knowledge, experiences which fundamentally change us it doesn't take long until we wish to undergo a rebirth. We become a mother bearing a child and as such we become Death and Birth. The symbology of a woman giving birth is so fundamental to understand the true meaning of birth and death, as doors to further development and not something to be feared, that I think representing Saturn as masculine blinds people for the full understanding of its force and origins within ancient religion/cults. The absolute fear of death, suffering and most things related to the Black Goddess are ignorant leftovers from the ages when a masculine dominating version of Christianity was used to keep people dumb and ignorant on purpose just to control them, because when you don't understand her powers within yourself, they can be used against you. Meanwhile the priests worshipped the Black Madonna in secret.

Red Goddess by Peter Grey- another book showing by FF- talks about the patriarchal shifting of older feminine deities. I also want to add the archetype vs. deity Saturnine view in which I originally wondered: the writer states if Saturn's intelligence WAS only an archetype, how come it shows up with the same symbols and traits throughout different cultures, even those displaced from one another- Indo-European to Aztec for example? I counter that with: maybe there IS such a thing as Jung's Collective Unconscious. edit: I reckon I will have to finally dive into Joseph Campbell soon.

Saturn is most intriguing as the consuming, transformative deity which will destroy before creation. in my satanic studies saturn is a deity of creation, but much much commitment and thought must be made first as saturn can really alter one's life in ways unpredicted, the consuming destruction before you are risen yet again. one of my favorite bands, Sopor Aeternus is a saturn occultist, which i've always found fascinating and now I learn more and it piques my interest even further. thanks for the review :)

What I dont get after reading this book is the following. In the book it is explained that Saturn is among other things both the lord of the Jews and of the Muslims (who worship the Kaba). It is later stated that extreme caution is needed when addressing Saturn without the proper precautions. But if this is the case, then how come the Jewish Adonai and Muslim Allah can be addressed in more casual prayer, but when you call on "Saturn", which seems to be the same entity, extreme caution is needed.? Can anyone shed a light on this? Also I have always understood Adonai to be most of all merciful among other aspects and not an evil entity the way Saturn is described here.

Has anybody ever written up an occult analysis of the role of Saturn in the life of Sabbatai Zevi (a name with many English spelling variations)? He was a rabbi who lived from 1626 to 1676, who received esoteric training, and who was considered to be the messiah by a very large number of his Jewish contemporaries throughout the world. I know he was born on a Saturday, a fact which determined his name "Sabbatai", and that much was made of this day of his birth to support his identification as the messiah.

I believe there's a current for all powers planetary or otherwise. I'm actually working with Venus energy. To give you some ideas what to expect, its energy makes you feel like a precious treasure though if you dig deep with it it will reveal all your faults and Imperfections. Having a strong sense of security and self-esteem is highly recommended if you wish to go deep and serious with energy. Some benefits of it is natural beautification, better grooming habits, inspiration for making yourself more attractive, a niffty ability I call "Velusian vision" where you slowly start to see the ideal form in all people and all things. This is essential when contemplating the virtue of divine love. When you recognize how precious everything is you would want to preserve it. These are just some of my experiences and to be honest I'm really just more dabbling then a full-fledged practitioner. I will say on the topic of Jupiter, its energy is very optimistic. When working with it you slowly get the sense that all your problems are easy to solve. Thankfully the adrenochrome theory is bunk. It would take 100s of humans to get enough to make an epi pen, which is why it’s synthesized. Trying to get it out of a human would be like raising an elephant so you can pluck out a single hair. You can buy it legally for not much money. I'm guessing your talking about the gnostic cosmology, in which there's no correlation with saturn and "the "demiurge" itself. the planets along with the 12 zodiacal signs are known as the archons. Lucifer refers to the morning star, which I'm pretty sure there's another planet that takes that title. Satan just means adversary, which can be a title given to anything that acts in opposition.
