Aging is not for sissies. Smith somehow manages to express the pain, loss and bittersweet knowledge that comes with age without becoming mawkish. I don’t know how he and the band manage this while making it beautiful as well, but they do. Perhaps it is Smith’s ability to distill complex emotions into several perfect paragraphs-not an unnecessary word, and it always leaves the listener wanting more.

I am stunned by this song. I've had it on repeat for a week. A gut-wrenching, soul-soaring masterpiece. HOW can The Cure be putting out new music now that is as good as their best ever? It is astounding. I recently listened to the entire Cure catalogue with my 15-year-old. There is no other band that comes close to The Cure, who have for 4 decades put out album after album of consistently brilliant songs. Robert looks like he was having an existential crisis on stage during this song. If he was, it's ironic. "I don't belong here, anymore" he sings. And yet, EndSong is - in my view - one of the best-ever Cure songs. Robert, you are extremely relevant and most certainly belong here!! Thank you.

Am Anfang des Songs sieht man jemanden, der weiß wohin ihn dieses Lied führen wird und er lässt es geschehen und lebt diesen Schmerz öffentlich ohne Kompromisse, dafür bin ich Robert so dankbar weil wir den gleichen Schmerz durchleben wieder und wieder..

People die along the way part of living is losing its life’s cruel rule. We watch out families grow old and die as we too grow older and die. I lost my partner this year she was only 43 iv never felt so alone lost depressed and often suicidal I just can’t move on I don’t know how to. I can’t go out the front door without feeling fear and panic i feel like giving up lately x love and light to u all my friends xx spend all the time with your nearest and dearest and never take them for granted because life really is short and so precious xj
