Many years ago I literally discovered the cure for depression. My mother had recently died and I felt like I would never be happy again. Then i stumbled into the cure for the depression I was in and I explain it in this video.
They demonetized the first one so I put it on Patreon. This will hopefully be normal and the algorithm will push it to everyone who needs to see it.
THANK YOU for the likes, subs, comments and just positive vibes in general. I love and appreciate every single one of you 🙂
People were asking for my links to show support so here they are if you want to buy me a coffee or something.

This is the North Face luggage i mentioned in the video.
Apparently it's out of stock on Amazon but this is the BEST luggage i ever owned and i went through a few of them. Im sure you can find it somewhere on the internet and eventually im guessing it will be back in stock on Amazon.

Hey Joey. My mother died at 45. She was very sick, and she suffered greatly for a long time. I also had a lack of feeling when she finally went. Part of it for me was shock, I guess, but another part was relief that she was out of pain, and also the relief of not having to worry anymore. The fact that you were thinking “what’s wrong with me”, shows that you cared. I had a very strong connection with her too. Take it easy, man.

We must have the same mother. Were you born in Houston, TX and now live in Pensacola, Florida down the street from my mom/our mom? Lol I know what you mean! I tried and tried and tried (3 trys to have a relationship with her.) I tried everything that I could to get this person to love me and you get to a point to where you are at in your life, " Hey, you know what? I already wasted the first 40 years of my life doing this, Iam not going to waste the rest of my 40 years left doing this. Hahaha you know????

She knew... how much you loved her. No young man is prepared to handle that kind of loss brother. I lost my mom a little over three years ago. I was 45 at that time, and had just begun my recovery, from a drug addiction I fell into, after my divorce. My mom was my best friend, ever since I was a little dude. My addiction and depression consumed me, and I wasn’t there for her in the end. I hated the thought, of her not thinking I loved her in the end. And hated myself in the process. But she knew... moms just know. When I went back home for her funeral, I went in her room and sat in her bed. Next to her bed on the nightstand, was a photo of me... a photo that was special for my mom and me. When I picked up the framed photo, I noticed a piece of paper behind the photo. It was a letter I wrote her, when I was 7 years old, as part of a school assignment. The title of the letter was... My Mother I listed a bunch of ways she was cool and stuff in the letter. And the last line was...... All I know, is that I Love her. Sorry for the long story man.

Like you said before, if you view the depression as like you are training. Imo that is dope advice cuz it helps you to see the depression from an out of body point of view and attack it easier than just as a feeling and being emotionally attached to it.

Hi Joey, I love watching your videos. My Mom paased away in 2017 from lung cancer. She was gone within three months. It took me years to get past it, but there was other stuff going on at the same time. Your description about your experience with your Mom resonates with me, and I think your outlook about reality matches how I feel about things too. I like to watch John Butler videos when I'm feeling down. He is a kind soul, and he makes me feel like I'm listening to a dear old friend. It's a shame that in this day and age we have to get the same spiritual fulfillment that I felt I had in person with others in the past. I just wanted to thank you for your videos. I sent you $10 through PayPal. It's not much, and I hope you get your car fixed soon.

I am struggling so fucking bad right now, more than I have in my entire life. Both my parents have passed away. I am living alone after getting divorced in 2020. I am 2 and a half months late on my rent. Working 6 days a week trying to catch up on my bills and the bank took out over $800 out of my paycheck in overdraft fees. I feel like I am literally drowning at 50 years old. And on top of all that, I just now got covid. I am really trying to stay positive, but at this point, it feels like a monumental task! I desperately need help and don't know where to turn. But I will say that your videos Joey absolutely bring me a shimmer of hope. Because I know you have struggled too and you are strong, man. And deep down, I know I am, too. I have soo much respect for you bro! I too beleive in God and I have been praying every day for help. Thank you for providing this amazing content at a time in my life where I need it the most!! btw you have very quickly became my favorite KZbinr! Keep these videos coming man!!

If I may say…it’s not necessarily laughter. It’s the present moment. It’s what Zen teaches. Laughter is just one of many ways that brings you into the present moment. Study Zen, study Eckhart Tolle, study Taoism and Buddhism. It’ll relieve your suffering. Or what it’s really doing…showing you that suffering is just an illusion. Cheers.

Joey, I think with quantum physics when you look at a particle you send a particle that interacts with it, such as a photon. It’s the physical interaction of the 2 particles which causes the changes you’ve mentioned, not necessarily the mere fact that you’re observing it. Some may have speculated that it really is just about having a conscious observer but I personally would lean towards an explanation that gives a more sensible physical explanation of what’s going on. Quantum physics shows there’s a lot we don’t know and reality acts strangely on subatomic levels (locations are indefinite, probability rules rather than definitive truth) but there’s nothing necessarily metaphysical about it, it’s just that our world seems to be governed by some weird math at its core. Thanks for the video

My mother's death is so fucked up. still kind of unhinged from it tbh and not full found peace with it i guess. She simply died of cancer but our family just failed hard for reasons, none of us are close with each other at all and her death only made it worse. The whole thing has completely blown my mind really. I completely get what you mean by your reality shifting and the world doesn't give 2 shits about it. But i think back to when someone else's father died when i was at high school and i didn't really care about that either so accept that's just the way it is, sad but true. Someone said to me, 'oh don't worry, eventually you'l just be left with the happy memories of the happy times you had with her, you'll see'. well i fricken well ain't got happy memories, that's for sure. I got memories of just her slowly starving to death, going yellow, and losing the will to live and there was nothing i could do about it and i couldn't even get through to her or connect with her because of not being close. And people in my family and some of their friends we're really funny with me about it. Like my uncle came down (hadn't seen him in years) when she was completely unconcious and a couple of days away from death, i explained that she couldn't take chemo and went for surgery in the hope of a full cure. Well he got slightly agressive and saying that, that was obviously the wrong descision as if it that was my fault or something. Feel like i was getting kicked while i was down from all the friends and family i came across during her 18 month battle. I put my head through a pine coffee table actually. So yeah, shit memories that only hurt, time is a good healer! Anyway, thanks for sharing and giving me somewhere to express my experience too. I've literally never spoken to anyone in RL about it tbh.
