@@RyanB257 Vanilla WoW wasn't hard at all. You can get to 60 in level 1 gear if you don't greed and pull multiple yellow mobs. It was more grindy and some quests weren't designed for singleplayer so you needed to party up for them. But if you played safe and used your brain, you could survive for a long time.

Thing is, if people went back to the beta they'd probably complain regardless Despite this game's flaws I believe it's in a better state than the beta. The gameplay was way too fast, most of the gameplay was dodging, there weren't that many combos, nothing was punishable and so on and so forth. People will complain about Multiversus no matter what and going back to the beta isn't changing that

WB are money hungry and have slathered this game in monetization but they aren't devs. There are tons of games that are just as bad with their monetization but are still good games. WB honestly has been very lenient giving PFG an entire year after they dropped the ball the first time; how many studios would do that. The fact that PFG somehow can't make a platform fighter with a million of some of the most recognizable IPs of all time work is on them. This shit with agent Smith locked with a release date of ??? yet the first thing I see ever time I boot up is just terrible design. Nothing to do with WB monetization. PFG honestly could have just kept the same game from the beta and if they had just fixed the netcode and released new characters/stages in a timely manner they would have been fine.

Very well said Noc. Pretty much agree with everything. And thanks for the content. I think content creators are a big part of what's keeping this game alive. Sometimes I think I'll be done playing for the day, but then I'll see a video and feel like playing again. It didn't used to be like that though. Before I can just play for hours on a Saturday, and then take a break and do something, and come back home at night and want to play again. Now I kinda contemplate. Idk what it is, but there just feels like an added stress in playing the game. Win-lose doesn't matter. Idk if it's the hitboxes or like you said feeling restricted on what you can do because of dodge meter, probably a combination of both. Maybe make dodge count as only 1 pip. I feel like if we had ranked, it might alleviate that a little by making it feel more rewarding since you're climbing the ladder. Sure there's still cheese in the game and that's what's keeping them from releasing it, but even in beta there was cheese and we had ranked. Just fxckin do it PFG! lol goddamn

The biggest thing about the Beta was we can grind the mmr system was awesome it was just a number but everyone was grinden to top 10k or something like that. In the Release Multiversus we cant do anything the events arent good we cant grind only level 15 and battlepass thats it if you finish it your pretty much done with the game

I gotta disagree about the prestige store. It is one of the scummiest things I've ever seen. A premium currency you get by using premium currency is wild. Like say I wanted The Batman who laughs (I don't), instead of just buying him I have to buy random garbage. Then I can get what I wanted. It's manipulative. If they want prestige to stay then it has to be like a customer loyalty thing. Say batman who laughs is like 3k gleamium or the 100k prestige. That way you can buy it outright or if you've been buying a lot of other things you get it as a bonus.

The ui change is bad now it just looks like Fortnite and the 2d portraits were unique and every character model fan made or not was in that classic 2d style but they changed it. Also everytime you earned something in the beta, the unlocked animation was so appealing you actually feel something when unlocking things and also the rewards within leveling a character 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I think the big thing that could save them and slowly get some players back is if they DO fix the game and add a lot more, A NEW character will bring them back for a short time and then they might see the other good changes from that. One thing that really annoyed me was I didn’t have all my characters I unlocked in the beta unlocked in the “full release”, I’ve emailed them and still no help. Doesn’t help when considering gold was how you used to buy fighters, and I had a bunch saved up, but it all got turned into perk currency. Of which you’ll use a few thousand on each character and never touch again. I got like 80k and idt I’ll ever drop below that with how much they give out. I need glemium and character shards or whatever they’re called, not more perk currency. Why’d they ruin the currency system

I’m just mad that I grind it out the battle pass too early now I have really nothing to play for everytime you prestige battle pass level im currently at 80 get 50 perk points, not prestige or fighter currency perk points. They really don’t want you to play the game after you finish the battle pass come do your dailies fight two fights with your friends get off that’s was the motto.

I can tell you were not a WoW player. “Do rifts level up gems, to do higher rifts”. WoW and any other MMO- do the same dungeons over and over to get gear to increase ilevel, to do the same harder dungeons to get better gear to do harder dungeons/raids. Literally the entire point of MMO’s but okay.

The 0 to death combos reminds me of the entire meta of castle crashers pvp/ insane mode doing the same combo over and over gets old after awhile thats why on console it's almost impossible to find a lobby of arena in that game because the fight is decided by who gets the x x y y combo off first and keeps the combo going without doing a miss input

They also made the same mistake of not having content once again and now people don't want to play because the BP is not enough to warrant them grinding right now. The game will probably get more interesting after there's enough stuff to unlock. The inital roster sucks balls. Jason was a failure and that hurts them a lot because he was supposed to be the "poster boy" of the relaunch and he's *_D_* tier in every tier list you see online. The lack of gleamium collection also sucks TREMENDOUSLY because this is the one currency they want you enslaved on the most. Shaggy spam is also scaring away new players who just want to enjoy the game but get their ass "kicked" (pun intended) whenever they try to 1vs1 or 2vs2. Tooniverse skins are a literal shader that should have been free... _Hey if you cannot get any of these skins, at least you can get this cool filter on your character after you, uhh I dunno, max it out to the last level?_ Another thing that could have made the game more spicy is final moves kinda like final smashes. Some exciting cinematic attacks that rewards you with precious kills. Also put all the custom rift stuff on custom matches. Mutations/modifiers to use with friends and bots should be there too. Just three settings to alter how long the matches will last is lame. Trust me I wish I wouldn't talk so negatively about this game as well, but you can only pretend for this game to be "good" for so long after you see through enough BS. So to the defenders of these bad practices, get real please.

I love this game and i do want to spend money on it but the item shop and the packs just sucks i don't understand why they don't just use whole numbers to price their packs not to mention i see the same 6 packs everyday like im still waiting on the tunesquad pack for bugs and Taz.
