I was working at Musashiya at Ala Moana Center in college when I first learned only people in Hawai'i say "package" for the bag you put things you buy in. When I asked a tourist from the Mainland if she wanted a package, she was confused, and then told me I meant a "sack."

I just discovered you on KZbin and I'm hooked. Have to watch a few clips every single day. I grew up in Kalihi and used the following phrases all the time: Make A, Bus Ass, Hotcha. Don't know if you already covered them. I'll continue to pray for you to be healed. God Bless You, you are special!

Andy, I just thought of one. When I first moved to Oregon, I heard people use 'pop' to refer to what I grew up knowing as 'soda', as in a soft drink. Keep up the good work Andy! Al in Aloha, OR.

Eh, Andy. I still use those words here in Orange County..lol. My wife always say "Geev'em" all the time, but in a different context like when my adult kids like something. Geev'em da money, Geev'em da car or Geev'em da motorcycle. I said NOT da motorcycle. That's my pride and joy--geez! Anyway, keep the great work on the Daily Pidgin, bruddah!
