The fact is that there are a lot of Proverbs 21 women in unhappy homes plagued with all kinds of atrocities wielded by the men who find them valuable for not wearing the short dresses and not being at the club. Human experience is far more complex than just "this or that". There's value in inner work just as well as there is value in a woman working on their appearance. In our endeavour to understand and explain the world we might benefit from not calling people's choices "stupid" when we don't sound too close to the opposite ourselves. The world is big and everyone is doing their best with what they know and have, get out of your own way, read books, talk to people and discover that all of the Bible reading in the world will never land you at any place where what you know can fit neatly and objectively into all of our individual lives, at least not yet and not for the past 2024 years.

How does it work when you end with the words "I am not saying you mustn't watch it, here's information do what you will with it".
