Love this movie and the music is so comforting! Takes me back to my childhood

Some of the most important influences: 1. Nocturnes (Claude Debussy), 2. The Firebird (Igor Stravinsky). 3. Concerto for the Left Hand (Maurice Ravel). 4. Pictures of Exhibition (Modest Mussorsky). Trevor Jones show a different technique of John Williams composition. Jones did not use the leivmotif as a central axis of his work.

One of the greatest fantasy scores and films too... Krull is my top fave sci-fi fantasy score.

There is that part in both this and Krull which is very unique to the 70's style which we don't hear anymore...
