I love that at 2:22 one of the operatives tries to land his feet on the plan but slips and crashes in, quickly reorienting himself for the objective. It's a bit of realism as not every action you take, even by a professional is perfect 100% of the time. And you can see that in how the other operative did land his feet right. So they're able to do it, just not always perfectly.

The moral of the story is if you see Bane while boarding an airplane, just get off the plane while you still can. If you see him while the plane is in flight, well, you're royally f-cked.

I love the fact that Bane doesnt have to betray one of his guys or expend some useless thug. He merely has to ask them to hand over their lives, merely for the sake of being a part of the entire plan. Thats some undying loyalty. His leadership and influence is so well displayed throughout the movie through that even I feel compelled. If I were to have him as a leader of any kind in an idealogy of any form, i'd feel very honoured and comfortable being by his side too.

What I always love is the contrast between bane and joker. Think about it. One obscures his face by choice, one has to. One is given no backstory (other than the bogus ones about his scars), while a lot of attention is given to the other. One has a pretty clear plan while The other is more keen on creating chaos. One has jokes and a few other tricks up his sleeve while the other is very straight and serious. I always appreciated that. They’re near polar opposite villains.

one is a calculated villain and the other is quite literally a psychopath so ye, i'd say they're pretty different

because of scenes like this (and many others) every film of the dark knight trilogy is still multiple times better than every new marvel or dceu movie…
@iskra62646 жыл бұрын
Well, until recently I thought the same, but then Logan happened, and my little heart was savagely torn between the last and the most glorious (and most tearful) of Wolverine's adventures (seriously, I cried like 3 times on this movie!), and the pure magnificence of the Dark Knight trilogy. To this day I can't decide which film I liked more - Dark Knight or Logan. ^^

Spark of Hopelessness sorry but logan doesn't even come close to being as good as the dark knight. I already forgot the plot of that stupid movie. Well made just not memorable. Meh

Well, Marvel chooses consistent quality levels, while DC chooses singular good moments and occasionally singular good movies.
@lonestar67096 жыл бұрын
Be honest, that's not saying much is it? This is a substandard film and everyone knows it. Compared to Marvel's drivel, it seems pretty good. But stop and judge these Batman movies on their own merit, and they're nothing special.

@ionceateapinecone4 жыл бұрын
This scene is cinematically brilliant. From the moment Bane begins to speak it's clear by every shot, every line, ever glance, etc. that *he* is in control of everything happening. While the Joker was chaos given purpose, Bane is calculating and patient, and Nolan goes out of his way to show that through his directing, not just through the dialogue. When bane is on screen, he is mostly centred and shown taking up the whole frame, often from shot from slightly below, giving him more presence and menace. A shot will move from somebody crouching down to speak to Bane, to Bane looking down on them.
