I had literally the opposite. I do not like any games but my ex was STILL controlling me. If I didn’t reply, she became mad. She became truly awful. Threatening me with “ backfiring “ which was odd. Always when I didn’t reply BECAUSE I WANTED TO HEAL she brought stuff that needed a reply. Such as the threat. I now, yesterday decided to end it all. Slowly I became distant, reply with 1-3 words to her words. Because I have someone I currently want. She still spoke to me about her not being sure if her current relationship will last. If it’ll be fine. Trying to keep me around, wanting to be friends and such. Do not be a replacement. I’m hoping myself peace. I still get emotional. Over the fact that I was cheated on in my first actual relationship. It’s been months and finally I can talk to others. I blocked my ex recently, and for the first time from a non toxic place. He has a tendency to message me months and months after we sort of reach a place of platonic or civil resolution, and I noticed that even though we agreed to end our friendship, with him remaining unblocked, I still had that little part of me in my head that was curious to see if he would message months later, so I left that door open. But then I decided it was ridiculous to leave that door open, and blocking was a way to shut down that voice of waiting and hoping. I love this video because my younger self and my friends often use/d blocking as a way to bring a person to the peak of withdrawal and speed up a short term, unsustainable reconciliation where there has been no room or time for anything fundamental to have changed. @@danieller9778 Sure thing. Yeah, sounds like he was bluffing by telling you that and waiting to see if you would be vulnerable enough or care enough to reach back out on his birthday. This was his way of seeing how you really felt about him. The birthday message would have given him some insight into your curiosity/feelings/care for him. Since the message was not recieved, he assumed you didn't care at all. I'm about 95% certain I am correct here. So be truthful: do you still have feelings? You may be able to salvage it, but you will need to be the one to contact him and express your feelings, it may very well work if he still has some feelings left too, but you would also be subject to his rejection again if your attempt thus fails. Love is very confusing.

@@misterE-1989 I do. But the thing is we broke up multiple times before and I was always the one to reach out again and then eventually we would reconcile. But then I never fully got what I needed from him. It was to easy. Eventually he pushed me to my limits and really really let me down at the end. He could not even face me to end the relationship properly (together for 3.5 years) that really hurt as well. A couple weeks later I asked him one last time if this was really it and his respons was yes go be happy with somebody else. He never reached out after that, not one message. Not even after those initial “heavy’ emotions dialed down a bit. So no, I was/am to hurt to send him a bday text, because that would mean that he (again) didn’t have to take any accountability that I so desperately needed/need from him. It’s sad but I have to put myself first now. It’s my birthday in a couple of weeks so I guess we’ll see if he can be the bigger person. Thanks again! Gray rocking is WAY better than blocking. Blocking is still fuel, negative fuel, but still fuel none the less. When you gray rock some one and they don’t get the response the expect and they start to look around to bother some one else with less boundaries.

Disagree! At the point when I consider blocking / no contact, ABSOLUTELY ZERO consideration is given by me to what my ex's reactions will be. Yes, my actions may cause some form of reaction or feeling with my ex, but what governs my decisions are my best interests and only my best interests.

I did it bcz she ripped my heart out ... She talked so bad about her abusive narciatic ex baby daddy and how he beat her and would control all her money put her in the er before and then cops question her about it she covers for him.i recently wondered why my gf went ice cold on me and we were so happily in love, intimate life was perfect but Monday morning she thought I was at work and I saw her car at his house....She says nothing happened I was there to get money for my daughter and her stuff ok...in 3 yrs dude has given her at the most 100 bucks maybe from what I've seen I took care of her mostly along with my gf as well. Now this is what I get in return.... if that's the reason she went by she could've stayed in the car like I been telling her or have him meet her but going inside for a while lately everytime u go by there...helll tf no!!!! Yes my heart is shattered but I blocked tf put her..... Then later that day the worst part is she came to my house took something she gave me tried to fight me and almost broke my door on my new truck..... This crazy b---- is blocked...she hasn't reached out attempted to apologize nothing and her family hated him and loved me now shes avoiding her folks as well.... Then she gets physical lately when she's angry and don't wanna talk. She was never like this till he came bk...

I had to block him because he would appear in my stories everyday then disappear for weeks then reappear. I found myself on his page and seeing at any given time a woman he was talking to. I’m extremely hurt by how he ended things and just didn’t give a shit. I blocked him for my healing. Apparently while blocking him a few more accounts got blocked 😂😂he had other accounts I didn’t know was watching me.

I just outright deleted mine. Truth be told, I only had social-media to keep in contact with her. If she were to reach out, I would break again, so I decided to just to delete it in the case she were to try and unblock me and reach back out.

My ex girlfriend broke up me and block me for 7 months because I have anger and trust issue. I blocked my ex on everything because she broke up with me and she had two little kids that became mine! We were together for 3 years and then to just take them from me killed me and not to long ago she asked for help and I did but then I saw her son my step son and that just drowned my heart in pain knowing I can’t wake up to them anymore and I had to walk away (blocked) that just hit my heart to hard and I had to keep away because then I will never move on. But once you left me for your baby daddy and then to me and then not happy out of nowhere is not healthy for me. I don’t care how she thinks says it takes me blocking her! This is for me to protect myself and learn how to be me alone and heal right. Pain is not an option for me.
