If Telegram is so bad, why is MOE not banning it from use in school? my secondary school daughter asked me to install it on her phone because the teacher uses it for group discussion and homework

u do realize they are mentioning all chat apps right. So it's telegram Whatsapp and messenger. Messenger u have commerce scams, child predators, false news. Whatsapp you have scams. And telegram for criminal activities as it's a privacy app. Think of telegram as double edge sword. Users can use it to protect their data and so do criminals can use it to protect their criminal data. Thats why it's safer for everyone to use it. And that includes criminals.
