Honestly i'm not so sure about my personal version of a medival romanian accent speaking in english is accurate, as accents change overtime but i sound steriotypical enough to have alot of fun when i say things like this: "Even in metamophasis the shadows, can only imitate the image of his wyrm(dragon of transcendent carnality), as they imitate every temple of grandure that they see... I love the idea of Tzimisce and Toreador Antitribu running plastic surgery clinics and consciously spreading Vicissitude (soul eaters/eldest antediluvian "body") this way, as well as rake in the money and access to Camarilla ghouls, and Influence, Problem is that sometimes the patients go missing due to the chaotic nature of the eldest' curse.

Been (almost) there, done (almost exactly) that. It's fucking hilarious when you realise your underground plastic surgeon can do "cool" stuff like: -Partner up with your Malkavian friend to change some mortal's face overnight as they sleep, watch them go insane from identity crisis, then have your buddy embrace them (Malk buddy was "childer-crazy", ok?). -Pull a similar play on the Toreador Primogen, progressively "uglyfying" her over several sessions until she ended up walking out into the sun (yeah, I have no excuse for that one; we just hated the bitch and wanted to see her suffer, also the whole court thought there was some sort of curse going on and they were scared shitless AND they ended up blaming the Tremere Primogen, so that's like a win-win-win-WIN scenario). -Get paid shitloads of moolah for changing a criminal's face so they wouldn't be identified by witnesses (VERY good money in that line of business). -Eliminate your Lasombra compatriot's need for makeup and portrait ghouls by straight up giving them the looks they want... in exchange for letting you blood bond them (her idea, not mine; she was broke at the time and had just gotten ALL her gouls killed for the second time within like a month). -Re-face MANY ghouls into prominent mortal figures in order to frame them for crimes YOU committed (the bullshit that some Ventrue can come up with fucking terrifies me). -Kidnap a high ranking member of the Society of Leopold, give it your face, lock their joints and leave them in a coffin as a decoy the night before they raid your den (that one was a lot of fun, actually). Seriously, ever since I stopped playing almost exclusively Assamites and Lasombra back in V20, I just haven't been able to stop playing Fiends; they're just too much fun xD

Well no matter which way you look at it, the Tzimisce are a pretty aberrant bloodline and in each origin for the clan and its signature discipline, there are a lot of potential corrupting forces behind the Tzimisce. Be it Kupala, Soul Eaters, The Eldest having a "Super Beast" all thanks to Enoch, or maybe a combination of all three and the Sabbat ideology doesn't help either. But whatever it is, the Tzimisce ain't right and that's why I bloody love those crazy Fiends.

Could there be such a thing as a humane tzimisce? Loyal to the Methuselahs, and hailing from the dark ages just prior to the Anarch revolt. Is it possible to use viscisitude for healing others, while using it to maim and brand those they view as wrong. Could they use elemental powers associated with Koldunic Sorcery, without becoming thralls of Koldun. Would it be too strange for them to horde lore and relics, conduct thermitic experiments all in the interest of evolving kine and kindred alike? If so, this is the sort of tzimisce I would like to present.

Instead of Vicissitude itself being the infection, what if if it was Vicissitude that got infected and subsequently corrupted. You still get all the horror and alien corruption stuff, as well as Kindred vs Soul Eaters but doing it that way might make it a bit more digestible for people.

@@TheGentlemanGamer Indeed! Although, the player is apart of a native antitribu old clan Tzimisce. The faction itself is referred to as the Tsuimitsue. I've taken alot of liberty designing the underworld of tokyo, but I've managed (in my opinion) to stay relevant to established lore. Zaibatsu and Clans of the Sun share power and keep peace between Kindred (native and foreign), Kuei-jin, and other supernaturals; Zaibatsu manages kindred, Sun Clans manages Kuei-jin, both cooperate to manage other supernaturals. The politics in play have been very fun and engaging. For instance, the Sun Clans have maintained a policy of non intervention in kine politics, going to great lengths to keep Kuei-jin and ilk such as the Yama Kings from causing problems and exposing supernatural kind. But, after the events surrounding Zappathasura, as well as the Yakuza purging it's ranks of supernatual influence, awareness has increased within the Japanese Government. There is a push in the politics of Japan to install a system similar to Xscope, starting in Tokyo. So now, the Clans are considering intervention in kine politics to prevent this from happening. Mean while, many Gaki are blaming the cainanites for this, a claim not entirely unfounded. Incidents have occured, and the relative peace is falling apart as all supernaturals are now threatened with exposure. I'm ranting now. Anyway, it's been a fun campaign so far, and I greatly appreciate your lore videos, and have referenced them many times in my studies. Thanks for your great content, Sir!

It's important for us all to remember that second only to the Salubri, the Tzimisce were ruined by the rise of the accursed Tremere, as well as bearing a great deal of the Inquisition and the first Anarch revolt. As sympathetic as I may be to the revolt and the conditions that created it, it was perhaps at it's most violent and destructive in the lands of the Old Clan Tzimisce. But the Tzimisce was ruined by their war by the Tremere, above everything else.

I found there by accident when looking for kindred things and saw my favorite clan Tzimisce being mentioned. So, naturally I stop by to listen. It's interesting. Thank you for this. I wonder is it too far fetches to say that their mindset is beyond how the kin thought and surprass the mindset of other kindred to the point where if kin thinks innocently I wonder what is going on in one's head... Tzimici had already cut person's head open, taken a look, made adjustments or tests and giving out information -Not free of course but perhaps for suitable subjects for next projects or assistance or excance for their evergrowing library of knolledge. One thing would be interesting to see; tzimice antitribu. Yet, there is none and can understand why. As if there there are independant scholars, they would stick around only as long as it benefits them. -Which kind of is case with all of kindred, more or less of course.

Have you ever held a campaign or been part of one with an interesting Tzimisce PC? I've had... Ideas, never had the opportunity to play the game, I'm afraid, but Ideas, and I'm curious what would might have to share. If so.... I would be interested to perhaps finance the video.

To me, it always felt like Tzimisce are a wasted opportunity. An interesting bud of an idea that they couldn't quite flesh out, pun intended, because they loved the idea of otherness and out-of-the-box more than they loved the clan itself, so they didn't know exactly where they wanted to go with them and ended up creating a confusing monstrosity that doesn't really have any vampiric vibe to it. All the other clans are well-defined and unique, despite being built on vampire or human stereotypes, but still have a lot of vampire vibe to them, even the Malkavians which are walking brain-scrambling oracles that are as confused as they are confusing, but still feel like vampires, probably due to the hues that Anne Rice added to the idea of vampires, or the many psycho murderers out there that thought they were vampires. But when I look or think of the Tzimisce, it's hard to remember they are vampires. To me, they feel more like demons, mutants, or aliens from a Clive Barker or John Carpenter story. They went overboard with the idea of metamorphosis and change and went as far as to make a philosophy of life out of it. They should have stuck with more stereotypical changes and creations, and have an apex predator and tyrant of the night kind of life philosophy. Vampires who turn into vampiry (not Carpenter) things and turn people into furniture and basreliefs because they are territorial inhuman bloodsucking jerks with a superiority complex is sufficient imo.

Brings to mind a hospital setting. A Tzimisce as surgeon, a Salubri, a Cappodocian or Giovanni down in the morgue, and a Malkavian running the psych ward.

Maybe a few “good” members could rise due to their greed, seeking to protect and care for their charges, even with their lives, just for the sole reason of them being their subjects, their property (kinda like Greed from FMA:B)

Thank you for the Guide to Clan Tzemice, that's one of my favourite Clans if not the favourite, i hope they get more representation in games and that we get alot of Tzemice Antitribue in Camarila and Anarchs (so more types of people can play more different types of Tzemice, imagine the variaty and the competition with the Tremere) , Because Expanding and Evolving a Clan centered on Change and Adaptation is an opportunity that no one should miss. P.S: Thank you for confirming my suspicions about "Koldunic Sorcery", knowing Russian gave the hint that saying Koldunism is the right way, as in Sorcery in Slavic Langues.

I also love blue and orange characters and Tzmisce fill that role for me in VTM (although any character of any clan could fill that role, in fact if one strays too far from the dregs of humanity any admirably poor Cainite could become the hideous monsters roleplayed in vampire tabletop rpg sessions as modern Tzimisce are hideous on the outside) Can't wait to see what you got next for us of the damned!

It never seizes to amaze me how Vampire universe perfectly translates into the actual, IRL nature and character of people representing a particular region. Tzimisce's seclusion, isolationism (and other qualities too) are very common in the Eastern Europe and beyond to the East.
