One REALLY important fact about the homunculus that keeps being brought up somewhat subtly through the anime is that they aren´t a generic representation of each deadly sin, but rather the materialization of every respective sin within Father, so they indirectly serve as Father characterization for us to understand his beliefs and motives

Can we talk about the fact that Pride has practically all the powers the other Homunculus have? His shadows are like lances, they are nigh indestructible, they can shapeshift, they can devour stuff, they are very strong and fast, and they have very good vision.

I don't remember Pride ever shapeshifting. Aside from the shape of his shadows, Pride doesn't change his form. Even in all those old photos he looks exactly like he does now.

I like how Pride shoots down the “Sloppy Plan Argument” since a Sacrifice is based on someone trying to bring a life back no matter what. A person like could never walk away from something that would result in their country being wiped out and thinking they could have done something about it. The irony is that to stop them you have to walk away from it all and they could never do that since they couldn’t even walk away from their loved one’s death.

Never noticed before, but Pride's 'teeth' in the shadows were always blocks initially, but after he absorbed Gluttony, they turned into razors, like shark teeth. He got so much spotlight after this that I forgot how the teeth looked before.

All the other times we've seen Hoenheim use alchemy, its been blue, but he had to tap into that philosopher stone to teach Pride a lesson. Greed kinda took my job and gave a recap of the Homunculi this episode.

@@arcturiandreamer yeah I know, but she took a break before for a few days and then uploaded again a video only to not upload any OP content for 12 days now (as far as I know she records in bulk...so I was expecting multiple vids and then break again?)...most of the time her breaks from OP is a week at most. Also, from her reactions the major part of the arc, she seems to not like it and also hates some of the characters in the arc (the comment section was noticing it too)....so if she is dropping One Piece hopefully we know coz I honestly watch her OP reactions but if not then I'll stop checking, no hard feelings If she's feeling sick, then no worries (health comes first of course)...just thought I'd ask coz im starting to wonder whats the status for One Piece reactions

hey, Alicia, when you're finished with this series, you should check out the fullmetal alchemist: the sacred star of milos; it's by a different animation studio, so the art style is a little different, but it's still a really good movie

Hos response to Al definitely shows his character greatly in contrast to Father, as Father essentially sees himself above all, as a sorta god, and Ho doesnt see himself as such, that he knows hes no more then a man. So him saying he knows a thing or two about alchemy isnt like just him being playful but rather him stating that he might know alot but that doesnt make him great.
