The fantasy sequence of John and Ted in the adult video section was one of the funniest jokes of the show.

Matty's speech to his son in the finale was some real talk! I think it was one of the few times in the season he truly felt like a father rather than a rude, insensitive dirt bag for the sake of the troupe. Telling John about how there aren't any junior proms (or proms in general) in the adult world and that life is a series of embarrassments. That breakdown was authentic! Too bad O.J. had to ruin what could've been the greatest night of his life (up until that point anyway). Why do I get the feeling if there is a Season 2 covering their senior year, John's prom date will come back from Italy pregnant?

I thought Ted 2 was far better than the first and corrected the main problem with the first which was Mila Kunis. They wrote her to be such a nagging fish wife who didn't seem right for John at all so I was glad they addressed that in the sequel. As for the TV series, Ted and John are good but the supporting cast are so out of whack. His parents are stereotypes of 1950s parents and his cousin is straight out of 2023. It's like his family are all fugitives from different times trapped in the early 90s where they don't fit at all.

The only part of Ted, the first movie, that I didn't like was when Mila Kunis tells Mark Wahlberg "Please don't judge Danny Masterson too harshly", and Mark was like "I throw stones in my glass house because the glass is Vietnamese". It just really took me out of the movie.

From what I have seen of the series I still have to finish it this is the way Ted 2 should have been not a movie but there was a place for it back then like there is now cause Ted 2 felt like Ted all over again with the toilet humor cranked up to around a 10 unlike this series that is more plot driven where everything moves the episodes plot or plots along and not just a cutaway gag for the sake of the cutaway gag and if this this the start of Seth working with universal studios maybe we could get a 4th season of the Orville where I know the principle and the father from cause it’s looks like Disney doesn’t really know what to do with him anymore and seemingly letting him run on autopilot so to speak where at this point family guy and American dad have run their course
