I will just say that I have one big problem regarding what you said. It's not the validity of the geopolitical analysis but it regards the morality of the GCC leaders. The fact that their actions cost some 300 000 lives in Syria in trying to remove Bashar El Assad and that they haven't and are not intervening more forcefully to prevent some 200 000 Palestinians dying and are waiting for the "dust to settle" tells me that they are completely immoral and that they are not fit to guide our Umma. I get that you said that the Muslims need to tighten the ranks and we must back our leaders and I understand that Zionism is done but what kind of amoral people are these that they are willing to participate in the destruction of hundreds of thousands of Syrians and let the same amount of Palestinians die in order to secure long term regional hegemony over Iran and Turkey. That's why the British Empire and their allies divided the Ottoman Empire into such small states and made sure to cause problems and incite factional divides neighbor to neighbor. It has made it hard for any one country to step up because they risk too much acting alone. You are probably right we don't have too many heroes in high places.
